“T.K!”

Despite everything she could do to me, I never expected her to be with a nigga I went to jail behind. All I saw was red flashing before my eyes when I dragged her from the bed, butt ass naked. She tried to get me off her, but I held strong, throwing her skinny behind towards the closet like a rag doll.

I turned my attention to T.K next. Running up on him, I threw punch after punch towards his face, not concerned about the pain shooting up my arm.

“Get the fuck up off my man!” Leah rushed over and hit me hard.

I backed up and glared at her.Her man?Obviously, this shit must’ve gone on for a long time for her to feel comfortable saying it.

“Are you serious, Leah? This is how you do me? I went to jail for you,” I spat, pointing a finger at her. Waving her hand in the air, she sucked her teeth.

“Baby, I didn’t tell you to do that. You made your own decisions.”

It shocked me that she had the audacity to stand here and say something like that. Tears stained my cheeks, and I must’ve looked a hot mess with my hair all over the place, but I didn’t care.

“What the hell is going on in here?” Auntie barged in, looking around frantically before landing on T.K.

She gasped, narrowing her eyes in disgust at Leah. “What the fuck did you do?”

“She laid here and got dicked down by a child molester,” I told her, out of breath. “Leah, that man was going to rape you. How could you be with him after what he did?” My voice cracked from all the yelling.

“He ain’t do shit to me, Baby.” With her hand on her hip, she said with an attitude, “You walked in and made assumptions.”

Looking at her with a curious expression, I frowned. “What do you mean by that?”

“What you think I mean, hoe? Before you barged in, I was about to get some dick,” she spat, walking towards him. “He was my man then, and he’s my man now!”

I was enraged by the whole thing, but what pissed me off most was her lack of remorse. I didn’t utter a word before I slammed her to the ground. Once I got her good in the eye, I felt arms around my waist.

“Get the fuck off her!” T.K snapped.

She threw punches at me, but I ate them bitches, hitting her in the nose.

“She pregnant, Baby!” he blurted out.

My hand stalled mid-air, my body growing limp in his hold.Did he just say she was pregnant?

Even with all the other people here, I couldn’t take my eyes off of Leah. I didn’t recognize her anymore. My sister would never betray me like this.

“Is it true? Are you pregnant, Leah?” I asked with tears in my eyes. My chin quivered, and I found it hard to breathe. A part of me already knew she was. The way she had been avoiding me lately, I knew she was hiding something.

“Yeah, and it’s his,” she admitted, cupping her stomach protectively.

I was lost for words. I had nothing to say. I had always defended my sister and took her side over everybody. Even when Jayda told me I needed to watch my back, I didn’t want to listen. Look how that shit came back to bite me in the ass.

My heart dropped in the pit of my stomach. I lost years of my life in prison because I did what I thought was right. Protecting a muthafucka that ain’t wanna be protected in the first place. She could’ve told me the truth when I had that baseball bat in my hands, but she chose to let me go to jail. That’sunforgivable.

“He gone fuck you over just like he did me.” She rolled her eyes at my comment. “And when that happens, it ain’t nowhere for you to run this time, because I’m done saving you. You on your own now.”

I walked pass my Auntie, who stood there shaking her head at Leah. When I got into my room, I leaned my back against the wall and sobbed hard against the door. This shit couldn't be happening to me. It felt like my heart was being ripped in half. My own sister choice a man over me. It’s a hell of a thing to realize your life was a lie. The whole time I was inside, I made peace with my decision and told myself I did the right thing. It was the only way I could make it through without breaking, so to find out it had all been for nothing left me broken inside. She ruined my life, and she didn’t give one fuck about it.

A minute later, there was a small knock on my door. I didn’t want to move, but I knew it was my auntie. I stood up to let her in, immediately breaking down when I saw her standing on the other side. She pulled me into her arms, rubbing her hand up and down my back soothingly.

“I’m so sorry about this, Baby.” She leaned back to study my face. Pulling on my arms, she tugged me towards the bed and sat me down In the last few hours, my life has spiraled out of control in ways I never imagined.

“Auntie, did you know about them?” I hated that I had to ask, but I was not sure what’s real or fake in my life anymore.

Her head reared back as if I offended her, but she must see this from my point of view. “Girl, no. She knows not to bring that trifling mess into my house. Leah dead wrong, Baby.” She huffed, crossing one leg over the other. “And if she thinks she gone stay up in here after what she did, she got another thing coming.”
