“So badly.” He was taking her, licking her, penetrating her with his tongue and lapping her clitoris. “Ohhhhh, fuck, Colton, you feel—”

He slipped a crescent-shaped ice cube inside her and the freezing shock sent her over the edge. Shuddering and yanking on the ties, she cried out, the orgasm shattering her. Her breathy erotic sounds made him want to take her again and again until her essence seeped into his dreams.

“I. Need. You. Inside. Me,” she blurted between breaths.

As he started to untie her ankles, she panted, “No, leave them.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes,” she said. “Now.”

Colton couldn’t roll on a condom fast enough. There was nothing he liked more than a gorgeous, smart, sassy woman commanding him to fuck her.

SLIPPERY WHEN WET

Brigit struggled to stayawake. She had to draw the linesomewhere. The music had ended hours ago and the silence, along with Colton’s slow, rhythmic breathing, lulled her to dreamland. Having sex with Colton was bad enough, but snuggling?

Saturday’s first light streamed through the windows. We pulled an all-nighter. Crazy marathon sex with the one man I shouldn’t even be speaking with. After extracting herself from his embrace, she turned around. He looked peaceful, angelic even, his disheveled hair framing his handsome face. She raised her hand to caress his stubbly cheek.

No!She recoiled.

Trying not to make a sound, she slipped out of bed and quietly closed the bathroom door. The white marble double vanity with its shiny, gold faucets provided ample room for two. The glass-enclosed shower housed two heads and a marble bench built into the stall.

While the water heated, she unclipped what hair was still piled on her head. I look like I’ve just had best sex of my life.Wild hair, flushed cheeks and chest, and a brightness to her eyes that defied getting zero sleep.Figures.

If Sleeping Beauty had beenanyother man besides Colton Mitus, she’d trip over herself to crawl back into bed for more. But her fairy tale evening was over, so she stepped into the stall and stood beneath the spraying water. The more she thought about what she’d done, the angrier she became. By sleeping with Colton, she’d complicated an already dicey situation. If he offered her the position, would Seth hold her job over her head if she refused to work for him? And how awkward would it be if she were forced to work at Mitus after their wild night together?Well, I’m not working here, so stop worrying.

If she left Porter, Gabriel and Sethfield, not every client would follow. It could take years to rebuild her business. The more money she made, the more Francesco stock she could purchase. Her stomach roiled at the reality of her situation. What the hell have I done?

“Brigit?”

Her eyes flew open.

“May I join you?” Colton asked.

Yes! No!She had to push him away, ensuring he wouldn’t offer her the job. A stabbing pain pummeled her chest, but things had to end. Here and now. She pointed. “Over there.”

He stood under the opposing faucet, the water sluicing his hard body. Everything dry became slippery wet.Everythingincluded the condom that covered his straining erection.Oh, this was a bad, bad idea.

He tilted his head back and raked his hands through his hair. Wet, dry, vertical, supine. Any position, allpositions suited him. He looked fine. Damn fine. But she’d had her fun. Time to shut this down. “We made a mistake. Got carried away. Let’s forget this ever happened.”I’ll never forget this.“It would be best if we didn’t—”

Before she could finish her sentence, he’d cradled the back of her neck in one hand while he snaked his arm around her waist and pressed his hand into the small of her back with the other. His erection pressed against her abdomen. Their slippery bodies sandwiched together were a recipe fordisaster.

He kissed her. His mouth lingered. A powerful kiss laid on her lips with the gentleness of a lamb and the sensuality of a man consumed with overwhelming passion. The kiss ended but he didn’t relinquish his hold. As if her hands were moving independently of her brain, she placed them midway on his chest between his shoulders and pecs. The best spot to push him away. Only she didn’t.

For the first time, his unruly hair wasn’t masking his eyes and she longed to trace the curve of his cheekbones and jutting jawline. How could one man evoke so much raw emotion?

“You choose, then.” He broke the silence. “A career at Mitus, or a weekend in Paris.”

“Forced choices don’t work on me, Colton. I agreed to meet with you as a favor to Seth. Favor delivered, and then some, but you and me—we’re done.”

“You haven’t pushed me away because you want this as much as I do.”

The simmering fire between them burst into a blaze of white-hot heat. In a flash, his lips pressed against hers while the water pounded their hungry bodies. Before she could stop herself, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pushed her tongue into his mouth and deepened the kiss. Moaning into him, she raked her fingernails down his broad, muscular back.

Breathing hard, he pulled away, his eyes brimming with lust. “Turn around and spread your legs.”
