He ran his tongue over her nipple. “Always.”

“I insisted on condoms, too. But I don’t want us to use them now.”

He closed his mouth around her nipple while he fondled her other breast. Raw heat surged through him. When he bit her nipple, she cried out.

“I love that. Do it again.”

He bit her other one and she sunk her fingers into his hair. “So good.”

He continued alternating breasts until her moans grew raspy and she dug her nails into his back. Then, he framed her face in his hands and kissed her. “Loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done and I want you to feel my love every day.”

Her lips quirked on her flushed face. “I’d like to feel that love between my legs. Would that be possible in…say…the nexttwominutes?”

He whisked her into his arms and carried her to the king bed. In truth, he couldn’t wait, either. As they lay together, her beauty and sensuality radiated. He dropped a light kiss on her lips. “What did you say about condoms?”

She pointed to her arm. “I use the birth control implant. I don’t want to use a condom tonight. I want you. Just you in me. Nothing separating us. Skin against skineverywhere.”

Zander King needed no convincing. “I’m clean.”

“So am I, but I’m about to get dirty. Very dirty.”

Jolts of energy shot through his ramped-up body.

She reached down, guided him to her. The slide inside exhilarated him. Her moans thrilled him. The pleasure overpowered him and he got lost in how good they were together. He had no concept of anything but Savannah, beneath him. Her fingers trailed over his back, through his hair. Every kiss, every stroke brought him closer to her.

He murmured his love for her and, when she smiled, he rolled them over, putting her in control. He trusted her with every ounce of his being. He could be vulnerable and unsure, brave and over-controlling. Every moment of his life had built to a climax with someone he’d once regarded as family.

Now, she wasn’t just his business partner, she was his beginning. And if he loved and cherished her, she would be his middle and his ending, too.

She kissed him and began moving on him. He smiled, the joy and rapture rolling over him and through him. He opened his eyes, whispered her name. Her pace accelerated as she took him deeper and deeper inside her.

This free-spirited woman and their impassioned connection had been the missing piece in his life. He knew in his soul that she was the one. He’d first known when she refused to muss his hair at Petroglyph National Monument. He had no idea why that moment had affected him, but it had. Maybe because he’d realized then that she held the power…over his heart.

That random weekend had changed his life, forever.

Crying out his name, she shook and trembled, her body releasing a powerful orgasm that rocked him to his core. And he let go, the ecstasy binding his soul to hers.

He had sealed his love for her in the most intimate way possible. Moments ticked by while they caressed and kissed, relishing their newfound love.

“Contentment is underrated,” he said, finally breaking the silence.

She lifted her head. The intensity that had been in her eyes had been replaced with peace.

“I love the way you love me,” she whispered. “I still can’t believe you bought a building to display my work.”

He tucked his arm behind his head. “We’ll make it official tomorrow by signing the deed.”

Tears pricked her eyes and she kissed him. “It’s overwhelming you love me that much.”

“Love, adore, admire, respect.”

“Zander, I will make you proud. I promise.”

“You never have to prove yourself to me, Savannah. We’re a team. If you can’t trust family, then who can you trust?”

The spark in her eyes flickered.

“I’m sorry, honey,” he said. “Bad analogy.”
