She was slippery with desire, and his thick finger returned to massaging her. Preparing her to take his impressive length. His voice was low, soothing. "You're so wet for me, Princess. I think you're ready."

Wordlessly, Brierley submissively agreed.

"Good girl," he replied, giving her one last, circling rub.

His hand moved away as his hip shifted, guiding himself towards her slick core. Pressing against her entrance.

She'd never had something so large and firm between her legs. And she gasped. Biting her bottom lip and still managing to moan. He worked his way into her, inch by torturously slow inch. She felt unbelievably tight around him, and he grunted with the effort. The slow intrusion was agonising and heady. He could already feel her tight walls twitching around him, and with a deep breath, he pressed the rest of his considerable length into her. Stretching her, filling her as he pushed his way into her depths.

Gently, he stroked her hair from her face. She was sweaty from the exertion of taking him. Concerned, Breht asked, "How are you feeling? Am I all right for you?"

"Yes," Brierley moaned. She felt so stretched, so full, so spellbindingly amazing.

The rocking of his hips was slow as he dragged his length out of her once again, before pushing back inside. She could feel every engorged vein rubbing her insides. When his hand came back around to circle her most sensitive place, the moans he brought forth were exotic to her own ears. He cupped her breast again, and every touch was a gentle caress, leaving her panting and wanting more.

His fingers gently pinched her sensitised centre, and he whispered, "You think I'd be able to stay away from this?" Her walls clamped down on him at his sudden rough treatment, gripping his impressive length. She gasped, trying to catch her breath. He felt amazing between her legs.

He felt her walls tightening against him, twitching and squeezing him. He breathed hard between kisses, barely keeping his composure. "You can come whenever you need to," he encouraged. She replied with a dizzy, light-headed moan. And she fell. Her walls fluttered over him as her arousal peaked. Heaving short, deep breaths as a world-shattering orgasm ripped from her. She felt delightfully slippery between her legs, and the gentle motions of his rocking hips drew out her rippling orgasm for a lifetime.

She nestled against him, breathlessly dizzy. He was incredible, and she turned her head to kiss him and tell him.

His hands moved to her waist, his thick fingers tightening to grip hold of her. Now that he had brought her to a loving climax, he needed that sweet release of his own.

He couldn't hold himself back for a moment longer. "My turn now, okay." He stated, but didn't wait for an answer. The tempo of his rocking increased. Driving the length of himself into her. Her eyes widened at the new heights of sensation he impartedto her. Her barely stifled screams only encouraged him further until he was claiming her along with his own ragged intakes of breath. She held him in a death grip as he thrust into her; another orgasm rose swiftly to claim her. As she squeezed down on him, his brow furrowed, and his kisses on the back of her neck turned into nibbles. He bit down on her, his tusks holding her in place as he drove into her. His body tightened in the most wondrous pressure between his legs. If Brierley thought he'd reached his peak hard before, it was nothing compared to the explosive wave that crashed through him. His release filled the protection embracing him. His rampant thrusts slowed, eking out the last gratifying convulsions of his climax.

He pieced back together his broken breaths, and they evened out. As his eyes opened, he saw the bite marks on the nape of her neck and in a heartbeat, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close against his chest. "I'm sorry," he soothed, planting a kiss on the side of her cheek as he rocked her, "I didn't mean to get so rough with you."

He lifted her carefully from him and laid her down. Wrapping her in the soft embrace of the blankets. Removing the protection and discarding it before lying down next to hold her close. Brierley clung to his chest, and he gently stroked the small of her back. Content to let her withdraw into herself and comfort her in the way that she silently demanded.

Their cuddle lingered on for time immemorial, and he was comfortable lying there, listening to the soft rise and fall of her breathing. She could rest on his chest for as long as she needed; clearly spent after his overly rough treatment, he’d need to be more careful with his mate in future. Humans were not as strong as they made themselves out to be. If they’d had more time, he’d have run her a warm bath to soothe all the aches he’d caused.Treating her to lavender-scented bubbles and dim candlelight. He wanted to care for her more than he could in the time afforded to them. Breht was dimly aware of the hour of the day. His time for checking out of the hotel room loomed over him like a dire grey storm cloud. He needed to be checking out of The Three Seashells and returning to the life he’d left behind, no matter how fleetingly. He let Brierley rest on him for as long as he dared.

Thick fingers grasped her shoulder, and he tentatively called her name. Her eyes snapped open, and she sat up, blinking, drinking in the sight of him. She hadn’t been aware of falling asleep, but the sudden shock of wakefulness washed over her, momentarily stunning her.

“Sorry to wake you, Princess,” he said, sitting up with her. “I need to give the keys back,” he said, hiding his sadness by kissing her gently on the forehead.

He stood, scooping her dress from the floor and helping her into it, the cutout sections of her clothing framing the bruising of his bites. He kissed her raw shoulder, conscious of the fact that she hadn’t spoken since he had been so overtly rough with her. As she settled onto the chair to buckle her shoes, he dipped, letting her foot rest daintily on his thigh. Deftly, his fingers hooked the diminutive loops as he helped her get her shoes back on. He took her hand in his and kissed the back of her knuckles. “Brierley,” looking her in the eyes, searching her very soul for answers. “I need to know that you’re all right?”

She threw her arms around his broad shoulders and buried her face deep into his neck. Clinging onto him. He held her tightly in his thick arms, and to his mortification, she sobbed. The heavy rush of emotion overwhelmed her in the wake of their post-coital bliss. “It’s all right,” he soothed. “It’s all going to beall right.” He ran his fingers over her hair, and she slowly tore herself away.

“I’m sorry, I just, no one has ever treated me like that before,” she explained, shame-faced. The rush of emotions brought on by such overwhelming physical intimacy was hard for her to reconcile, and she hiccuped as she tried to explain herself and her reeling thoughts.

He was at a loss for words; an apology wasn’t enough. Breht had wanted to love her, care for her, not mentally scar her!

Evidently, she could see the look of alarm on his face as she hastened to elaborate, not wanting to get caught in the trap of miscommunication again. “I’m surprised by how much I liked it, how good you’ve made me feel,” she reached up and touched her tender neck. “I’ll wear your bites like a badge of honour, but there is just one thing.”

“Name it,” Breht asked, getting to his feet.

“Don’t expect me to call you Daddy.”

He laughed, knowingly, giving a chaste kiss to the side of her head, “We’ll see,” he replied. He plucked his clothing from the floor and wriggled into his jeans. Brierley leaned close to him and fastened the buttons on his shirt, leaving the top one open. He hooked his finger underneath her chin and kissed her waiting mouth. Reluctantly, he pulled away from her, running his fingers over her hair before slipping his arm around her waist.

He pulled his suitcase behind him, giving the room a last look before closing the door behind him with a click. He’d drop his beloved off at Ohpaua and take the long drive home and return before she’d even had the chance to miss him.

Epilogue

Brierleylookedupfromthe intricate filigree work on her latest piece. It was unconfirmed, but she may have even been sticking out her tongue in concentration! It was the purring growl of a car engine that had made her look up from her work. It was rare that anyone parked directly outside of Ohpaua, and the sound captured her curiosity. The emptiness of the store was another rarity; usually, there was a constant flow of customers coming through her door, but the day's peace had allowed her to replenish her wares.

She put the tools down on the studio bench and stood. She peered into the cabinets, opening the glass door of one of the long display cases and carefully nestling an item of jewellery in its temporary home. Glancing over her shoulder, she carried herself over to the front door, her curiosity piqued.
