He gives a loud groan. “They all want to go on Monday.”

“Monday? As in, three days from now. I thought we were going to wait until you were able to ride?” Now my brows have reached my hairline.

He rolls over, and puts an arm around me. “We were, they aren’t.” He snorts. “They kind of took our Vegas idea and ran with it. Their plan is that I’ll drive the crash truck.” His mouth twists, “Got to admit, that does make sense. You’re still a novice rider, babe, and it’s going to take a while for you to be able to ride up behind me for nearly five hundred miles.” His grimace deepens. “Be sometime before I’ll be up for it.”

His reluctance to have the club with us, has me feeling nervous. Glancing down at my gorgeous engagement ring, I realise I’m being ridiculous, but still I ask, “You do want to marry me, don’t you?”

Cupping his hand around my face, his eyes burn steadily into mine, and when he speaks, his tone is low and measured. “Darlin’, far as I’m concerned we’re already fuckin’ married. Hate that we can’t be that to the world. Want to rectify that as soon as possible, so everyone knows that you’re mine.” Softly his finger start to caress my cheeks. “I thought you’d be disappointed that it wasn’t going to be just us, and as for the timing…”

“I love you, Flynn.” The earnestness in his tone has made me choke up. Then abruptly I add, “Let’s do it.”

“Yeah?” His brow rises in question. When I enthusiastically nod, he asks, “Monday?” His eyes light up.

“Monday we travel. Tuesday we get hitched,” I confirm, excitedly. “That’s if we can get it booked up. I’ve found just the right venue.” Pulling away from him and leaving the bed, I go over to the table and retrieve my laptop. Returning with it, I open it up to the website I’d just been exploring.

He takes it from me and scrolls through the pages. “I like it, Pixie Girl.” As I roll my eyes at the name he’s taken to using, he adds, “Which officiant are you thinking?”

Shyly, I point to the name I’d chosen.

His lips quirk. “Woman, I fuckin’ love you. That’s utterly right. Book it now.”

“You sure?”

“Fuckin’ certain.”

The journey waslong and tedious driving in the crash truck, and made me realise Flynn had been right. My ass was sore enough sitting fairly comfortably in the passenger seat, with snacks and water on hand, for the ten hours it took us to get to Vegas. Heaven knows I’d have lost all feeling if I’d been on the back of his bike.

We’d had breaks, four in total, thank God, the frequency mainly to allow Lancelot to top off the tank of his Sportster, while the others also took advantage of ensuring they had enough gas. The breaks at least allowed me to stretch my legs. Flynn appreciated the rest stops too, but if anyone noticed the stiffness in the way he was walking, no one mentioned it.

Once the club had decided to come, Stalker had taken over the arrangements for our accommodation, for which I was grateful. I knew nothing about Vegas or where the best spots were. He booked us into the Venetian, mainly because it hasdedicated motorcycle parking at the garage entrance right next to the security guard station.

When we drive down the strip and arrive at the venue the treasurer had chosen, I’m in awe at the magnificent surroundings. After we book into our rooms, the guys go down to the casino floor, while Flynn takes me on a gondola trip, with gondoliers serenading us as we glide through the Grand Canal, staring up into a realistic blue sky. He even takes me shopping. Though I hadn’t given any thought to what I’d wear for my wedding, having just decided jean shorts and a flowery top would be fine for the venue we were going to, I saw something in a window and just had to stop. After some persuasion, he eventually agrees to wait outside while I go in to make my purchase, using his credit card, of course, as he has all my money.

After we place my bags back in our room, we join the others on the casino floor, but I’m so tired from all the travelling, and Flynn’s legs are protesting the long drive, we leave them early and retreat to our room. We make slow, sweet love, then Flynn falls asleep while I lay there musing how different this was to the last time it had been the night before my wedding. Turning over on my side, I watch him, eyes closed, completely relaxed, and once again realise how much I love him. All those weeks back, I couldn’t have dreamed this man would ever make me so happy. It’s with a smile on my face, that I lay back, and soon follow him into slumber.

The next morning, we have breakfast from the extensive buffet, and then the guys go to get their bikes, while we walk further inside the garage to the crash truck. When we all meet up, we disclose the wedding venue we’d chosen, the Rock and Roll Chapel, just a short drive from the hotel.

“Now we’re fuckin’ talking,” Paint sighs out. “Thought we were going to have to suffer Elvis or something.”

Flynn and I grin at each other.

We lead the way, and once all parked up, enter the chapel. After speaking to the people inside, I’m able to use a room to get changed. Flynn had asked to choose the music, and while I was slightly nervous, I’d agreed that he could.

Dressed in skin tight red leather jeans and a red leather corset top, I nervously wait. Suddenly Patience by Guns and Roses started playing, and I swallow my laugh. I might be too young to remember when it first came out, but I love this band, and know the song well. This was perfect. Our relationship certainly hadn’t been smooth and we’d had many bumps in the road.

I didn’t expect Bullseye to be waiting, but when he offers his arm to walk me down the aisle, tears catch in my throat, and I eagerly accept.

Flynn’s eyes open wide as I approach. When he swallows hard, and shifts his stance, I can’t hold back my grin, seeing how my attire affects him. Then my eyes are caught by ‘Slash’ who’s waiting to perform the ceremony, and I almost swoon. The likeness was so uncanny that it was as if the famous guitarist were there himself. Well, if we were back in the late eighties that is.

“We’re gathered here today to witness the joining in matrimony of Flynn and Jayne…” The formal words go over my head, Slash now forgotten, I’m lost in the sight of my man. “They have written their own vows.”

As Flynn starts talking, his choice of song becomes clear.

“Jayne,” Flynn begins. “There was a time when I wasn’t sure, but fuck, woman, you did something to me, you eased the aches in my heart, and took up place there. We took it slow, we needed patience…

There’s laughter behind us. “‘Cause your body was so fuckin’ broken you couldn’t get it up.”

Flynn raises a middle finger and points it in the general direction of our audience, but doesn’t let the interruption put him off his stride. “I fucked up, there were times I could have lost you, but through everything you stayed. It was always you, Jayne. And while I have no idea why you want to marry my sorry ass, somehow we’ve made it. I fuckin’ love you, Jayne.”
