It’s so weird. But I feel like my mother is watching this moment right now. I feel like she’s finding peace.

I feel it too.

She couldn’t hold back anymore. Sonnet buried her face into her hands and sobbed, not out of sadness, but overwhelmed that anyone could be this kind to her.

“Oh, sweetheart." Felix was the first to hug her. “Did we overwhelm you? Maybe we should have waited until after your heat cycle.”

“No, this is perfect. I’m just so happy I can’t stop crying.”

They all chuckled, completely understanding her emotions, and allowed her to cry it all out.

I can’t believe this. I want to move in right now.

There’s no time. Can’t you feel it? Our heat cycle is coming.

Sonnet could feel it, and for the first time, she wasn’t afraid. She looked at each of her men and couldn’t stop smiling. In just a few days, they would be bonded together permanently, and she would never have to feel unworthy again.

Chapter 58

It was a beautiful Saturday morning. There was freshly brewed coffee, homemade scones, and the sun warming the soil. Zayden stood outside wearing nothing but sweatpants, enjoying the peaceful moment, until the smell of sugared strawberries wafted into his nose and small arms wrapped around his waist.

“Sonnet?”

She purred. “Zayden…Please.”

He whipped around, and his eyes roamed over her body. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes glazed over with lust, and her chest rose and fell rapidly. Every inhale he took was intoxicated by her scent.

It’s happening. She’s ready for us.

We’re ready, too.

“Come here, baby. I’ve got you.” Zayden carried her bridal style up the stairs. He had to remind himself every few steps not to rush or panic, or worst of all, take Sonnet up against the wall instead of in her nest. But Sonnet was making it difficult. A purring noise vibrated her lips as she kissed his neck feverishly.

Zayden’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he stumbled into the omega suite. He paused at the entrance of her nest.

“Sweetheart—”

“Yes,” she answered before he could even ask. “Yes, it’s okay. I want you in my nest. I want all of you. I want this forever.”

Fuck.

That was all he needed to hear from his little mate, confirmation that she wanted a forever with them, and a forever was exactly what he’d give her. By the end of all this, he’d bear her mark proudly. Zayden would never question his role as lead alpha again.

He kept Sonnet secured in her nest as he fumbled with his phone. He gave the others five minutes to meet them before Zayden would start without them.

The space was welcoming, with sunlight seeping through the stained-glass window, the calming smell of sea salt and lavender filling the space, and all the plush items offering comfort. Sonnet truly created the space to be perfect for this moment.

“Baby!” Jude gasped.

He, Kai, and Felix all paused outside of the nest.

She looked up, but it was clear she was fading fast. They wouldn’t have much longer before her omega took control, and her heat took over.

She smiled.“Yes.”

It was all they needed to hear before Jude, Kai, and Felix crashed onto the nest. All the space in the world, and yet the four of them were practically on top of each other just so they could be as close to her as possible.

Her skin was so warm as they all glided their hands over her. She shivered.
