“Hi, baby,” Jude whispered as he drew closer to her. Her eyes didn’t leave him even for a second. “I love you so much, Sonnet.”

He kissed her gently, tangling his hands into her hair, and positioned himself. But he froze. Jude had always been proud of the length and width of his cock, but in this moment, he wondered if he was too much. If he hurt Sonnet, he would never forgive himself.

She made a whimpering sound and nuzzled her face into his neck, as if trying to calm him.

“Ready,” she whispered. “Ready for you.”

He gulped. “Okay, baby.”

He pushed inside her slowly, stopping every few seconds so she could adjust to his size. He wanted all of himself inside of her. He wanted to be hers completely.

She never made a sound of pain or discomfort. She held on to him as if urging him to continue. When he slid the last inch of himself inside of her, he sealed it with a kiss.

“You feel like home,” he moaned against her lips. “You are my home, Sonnet. My entire world.”

Jude was careful as he set a slow pace, ensuring she could adjust to his length completely before he tried to go faster. He was proud of the control he had over his urges, but when it came to Sonnet, doing anything for her was easy and simple. He was her alpha. It was his duty to do as she needed, be as she wanted.

She was the sun. He was just a small planet orbiting around her.

“She’s taking him so well,” Kai mused, planting gentle kisses on her shoulder.

“We’re so proud of you, sweetheart. You’re such a good girl,” Zayden added.

All the praise made Sonnet tighten around Jude. He chuckled as he carefully picked up the pace and adjusted her legs to wrap around his torso. She fit into him so perfectly that it was hard to focus. How did someone so perfect exist?

“Baby,” he groaned into her ear. “I love you. I love you so much.”

Sonnet wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close. They held each other as if not a breath of air could penetrate this moment.

When they released at the same time, Jude was sure he was seeing stars. It had never felt that way before, and he was sure after this, he’d officially become addicted to being with Sonnet in every way possible.

Chapter 61

Waiting until Jude’s knot faded was agonizingly slow. Kai wanted Sonnet, and he wanted her now. All he could do was kiss the sides of her face, play with her damp hair, whisper things in her ear, and wait.

Jude should have gone last.

An omega chooses the order that feels right for her.

Whatever.

His alpha was right, of course, but that didn’t make the minutes of waiting easier. It felt like Kai had been waiting for Sonnet his entire life, and he would wait even longer if she asked him to. That didn’t mean he wanted her to, though.

When Jude finally pulled out, Kai tilted Sonnet’s face towards him, searching her eyes for any sign that she hadn’t accepted him completely. Any hesitation, and he would stepaway, even if it tortured him to do so. But Sonnet only looked at Kai with complete adoration and love.

Love. She loves me.

“I hope you’re ready for me,” Kai teased, nipping her earlobe playfully before he positioned his body over hers. But he didn’t rush anything.

Kai sucked at her nipples, teased her wet folds, anything and everything to hear the noises she was making. She tangled her fingers into his hair and pulled them.

Kai chuckled. “Tell me what you want, baby.”

He knew she barely had enough words to form a sentence, but he didn’t want perfection. He wanted her to beg. He wanted to be wanted by her.

Needed.

Sonnet whimpered, her legs widening. “You.”
