Shadow doesn’t look at him. “You cut one open.”
“He reached.”
“He blinked.”
“Could’ve been reaching after the blink.”
Hammer rubs a hand down his face. “It’s too early for your bullshit.”
Joker’s mouth curves faintly. “It’s never too early.” Logan’s eyes flick to him.Joker shuts up.
Good. A little normal returning.
Not enough to ease anything.
Dom taps a key. “Intel pulled from the warehouse confirms at least three connected hubs. We hit one staging point, not the whole network. We disrupted a route, grabbed six alive, recovered partial manifests, two payment strings, and references to Denton again.”
“Denton breathing?” Carter asks.
“Not in our basement,” Cain says. “Yet.”
Landon shifts slightly, grimacing when his arm pulls. “Money trail says Denton isn’t top. He coordinates regional movement. There are accounts above him. Cleaner. Harder to touch.”
“How many hubs?” Logan asks.
“Confirmed three,” Dom says. “Possible six.”
The room settles with that.
Six.
Not over. Not even close.
“We hurt them,” Dom adds. “That matters. We pulled a route apart, exposed transfer procedure, and forced Matteo’s side to cough up things they probably wouldn’t have if Olivia hadn’t been in the middle.”
My jaw tightens at her name.
Dom notices. Keeps going anyway because he isn’t stupid enough to soften truth just because it cuts. “But they’re still operating. They’ll reroute. They’ll burn anything tied to last night. We have maybe forty-eight hours before some of what we gathered goes stale.”
Logan nods once. “Then we use it before it does.”
Cain’s eyes are flat. “The men downstairs?”
“They talk today,” Logan says.
Joker perks up slightly.
Logan points at him. “Not like that.”
Joker settles back. “You’re so suspicious.”
“You earned it.”
Blaze mutters, “Man has hobbies, Prez.”
“His hobbies leave stains,” Hammer says.
Joker smiles. “Only if I’m rushed.”
