A serious expression crosses his eyes.
“You tell me. Do you want it to be good, or do you want it bad?”
I shake my head, clearly growing used to these comments of his.
“Bad. I want it bad.”
I meant it as a joke, you know? To put him on edge or make him feel as turned on as I am with no reward in sight.
Beck, however, has different plans.
Instead of replying with words, he jerks me closer.
I can feel his erection pressing against my lower abs, and I gasp.
The noise is quickly silenced by his lips against mine.
The hand that was at my lower back is now threading through my hair, and his other hand is cupping my ass. My hands are grasping his neck as if my life depends on this kiss. As if it depends on his tongue tangling with my own, breathing life back into my body.
Kissing Beck is out of this world. His moan of approval vibrates across our lips, and he grinds against me.
“Let’s get out of here.”
I nod, never breaking the kiss.
Swiftly, he turns his hand in mine and pulls me behind him out of the club.
“Where are we going?” I ask.
“It’s a surprise.”
“I don’t like surprises.”
“You’ll like this one.”
“Probably not. Now tell me.”
Even though I don’t like surprises, I’m still smiling. I was just kissing Beck, and I plan to do more of it.
“Are you always this stubborn?”
I nod. “Oh, yeah, and if we’re married, you’ll learn all my other annoying traits.”
“I think I’d survive.”
“Only one way to find out,” I tease as he comes to a stop in front of a little chapel inside the same hotel as the club.
“Here,” he says. “Are you ready?”
CHAPTER TWELVE
CALLA
Today is day one of Drive Beck Bonkers. I figure the first full day I have to be around him is the best day to get this started. If I play my cards right, maybe I’ll be divorced by the end of next week.
I can hear him in the kitchen making a smoothie.
I bounce up the steps with a smile on my face. He looks up almost instantly.
