I will take as much as he wants to give.
CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX
BECK
Keeping my hands to myself is nearly impossible these days. In all the moments when I thought about how staying married was important to me, I never realized how much more important it would be to me to be happily married.
And right now, the idea that I’m married to the woman standing in my kitchen spraying Cool Whip into her mouth does things to me that I never imagined. I want to lick the cream right out of her mouth. I want to take the can and spray it on parts of her body that don’t require food. I want her to sleep in my bed and wake up next to me and I want… her. I want her right here with me. Always.
She starts to put the can back in the door of the fridge but then thinks better of it and gives herself one more shot.
I can’t help but chuckle behind her.
With whip cream on the corners of her lips, she spins around and starts to laugh.
“Attractive, right?” she says with a mouthful.
“More than you think.”
I approach her, her gaze studying my every move.
“I have to leave in about twenty minutes,” she says and sticks her hand out. “Do not start something you cannot finish before that time is up.”
“Twenty minutes is plenty of time.”
“Beck,” she coos in a flirtatious tone.
“Calla.” I grab the can from her, pressing my lips to hers. I snake a hand around her waist and pull her close, spinning as I do this. Then I grab her by the ass and plop her on the counter.
“This kitchen has seen more action than any kitchen I’ve ever known,” she says between kisses. “Should we move to a more private place?”
“What’s more private than our own house?”
She answers me with another kiss.
I grab the can of Cool Whip and spray her neck before she can even notice what I’m doing.
“Beck, that… ah” is all she says before my tongue is licking every last bit. “Just the neck?”
I growl and tug at her shirt.
“To start.”
Together we pull her shirt off only to be stopped by her phone ringing.
“I need to get that.”
“Make it quick.”
She blushes but nods.
“Hey, I’m about to leave my house,” she answers. I’d complain because it’s a clear statement that whatever we were about to start has to wait till later, butmy househits me right in the chest.
Maybe her choice of words is a hint to where this new relationship is going.
“Okay, see you soon.”
She hangs up and then sticks her bottom lip out. “I have to go.”
