I take the hint and do just what she wants.

I start to pound into her, her cries muffled by my hand.

She bites me as she draws closer.

I’d slow us down and let us enjoy every minute of this bliss, but our friends are waiting, and this is not the way I want them to find out about Calla and me.

She moves her hand from my butt to touch herself, and when I see her rubbing her clit, I explode, the sensation pulling her own orgasm from her at the same time.

I collapse and roll off her so that I don’t crush her.

She curls to her side and kisses my chest.

“I’m loving this party, but I sort of wish we didn’t have people here right now.”

I chuckle.

“Me too, babe. Me too.”

We both grab the clothes that we removed and quickly put ourselves back together.

“I’ll go first,” I told her. “It’s my room. If someone sees me coming out, it won’t raise questions.”

“Smart.”

She sits on my bed, grinning at me.

I take two long strides back to her and kiss her.

“I think I like you,” I tell her, and she blushes.

“I think I like you too.”

I head out back to the party, and ten minutes pass before Calla fakes coming down with something and pulls me back to the bedroom.

CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

BECK

It’s Wednesday, and the guys and I are sitting in a circle around the table at Tobias’s house. Everyone is writing, including me.

Yep, that’s right.

My spark is back, and it’s hotter than ever.

I think we all know who to thank for that. Who knew that getting the girl and a movie deal would be all I needed to get back into the swing of things?

“Holy shit,” Hero says, and everyone stops typing to look at him.

“What?” Zane asks. “You can’t just interrupt like that and pause.”

“Right.” Hero shakes his head and looks at me. “I totally spaced this, but Doug mentioned you got a movie deal with HBO. That’s amazing. Why didn’t you say anything?”

The table erupts into congratulations and instant chatter about goals and books-to-movie adaptations. I thank them, praying none of them ask me—

“What’s it about?” Simon asks.

That. I was hoping none of them asked me that.
