Oh my God. He really doesn’t remember me!

If he did, he’d never want to go somewhere “quieter” to catch up. Especially with Ethan’s younger sister. The closeness of their bodies made Chloe’s heart race.

Chloe tilted her face up and was about to tell him who she was, then she slammed her lips shut. This was the guy she’d crushed over for years. The guy she’d dreamed of kissing one day. The one guy who’d filled her dreams. The only guy she’d ever felt anything for. She’d lost her chance when he’d left Australia. Well, if she was honest with herself, she’d never really had a chance. There’s no way Theo would have gotten close enough to her to tie her shoelaces with her big brothers around. But it hadn’t stopped her from dreaming about what it would feel like to kiss Theo.

What if this was her chance to put those teenage dreams into action? If he didn’t know who she was, there was nothing stopping him from taking things further. Instead of an eighteen-year-old pining for a kiss, Chloe wanted more. A lot more. She was damn sick of being a thirty-year-old virgin. She wanted sex, and from Theo’s heated gaze, he wanted her and wasn’t taking her somewhere quieter just totalk.

Could she go to bed with Theo? She’d told her friends she wouldn’t hook up with a random guy in a club, but Theo wasn’t a stranger. He might not know who she was, but she knew him. Surely that would be okay? Besides, he wanted to sleep with her as much as she wanted to sleep with him. Not to mention, he was so much hotter than the boy who’d left all those years ago. This was her one chance. She should take it.

She put a hand on his arm and leaned forward, her lips a hairbreadth from his ear. “I like your idea of going somewhere quieter.”

He trailed his fingers across her lower back and nuzzled his lips just under her ear, causing goose bumps to explode up and down her spine. “Let’s go.”

This was really happening. Oh God, this was really happening! For a second, her bravado slipped. She wanted to do this, but could she go through with it knowing she wasn’t being up front with him? She stared into his eyes, and the desire shooting from them pulled her into their blue depths.Mind made up; no going back now.“I’ll tell my friends I’m leaving.”

“You looked like you were getting well acquainted with your childhood crush,” Blair said with a grin when she slipped back to their table.

“He doesn’t remember me,” Chloe raised her voice loud enough for them to hear her over the music. “And I didn’t tell him who I am. I don’t have time to explain now because we’re going somewherequieter.”

Daniela’s eyes narrowed while Hazel and Blair’s lit up with excitement.

“Why are you standing around talking to us? Go over there and have sex.” Blair put her hands on Chloe’s chest and pushed her away.

Chloe pressed her heels into the floor and didn’t budge. Putting her palms on her warm cheeks, she said, “Oh God, can I do this?”

“Do you want to?” Daniela asked pointedly.

“Yes.” The answer came quickly. She desperately wanted him to be her first lover. “What if I totally suck at it and make a fool of myself?” How mortifying would it be if she was a dud in bed!

“You’ll be fine. Just follow his lead. He looks like the kind of guy who knows his way around the bedroom,” Hazel said.

“And a man who knows where to put his dick.” Blair grinned, referring to their earlier conversation.

Chloe pulled back her shoulders and blew out a long breath. “Okay, I can do this. Wish me luck.”

“Good luck!” Blair and Hazel called out with joy.

“And be careful!” Daniela echoed.

Chloe waved to her friends with a giggle and made her way back to Theo, mentally checking what underwear she’d worn and when she’d last waxed. Luckily the dress didn’t allow for much underneath, and her downstairs area had had a tidy up two days ago. So everything was good to go.

Theo stood where she’d left him, watching her with the same intense stare. Flutters of excitement took off in her stomach. Thank God she wasn’t nervous. If she were, that could be disastrous. Nervousness led to sneezes, and sneezes were never sexy.

“Ready?” he asked.

She nodded, not trusting her voice wouldn’t come out in a decidedly unsexy squeak. Instead, she plastered on what she hoped was a sultry smile.

It must have worked because he said, “Follow me.” He held out his hand for her to take. When she clasped it, their fingers linked together. The simple touch caused her heart rate to escalate. They threaded their way through the tables and booths to a dark corridor away from the main part of the club where a security guard stood at the entrance.

“Good evening, Mr. Campbell,” the man said.

“Hey, Carl. Any problems tonight?”

The guard grinned. “Nothing I couldn’t handle, sir.”

Theo tapped the man’s shoulder. “Great, I’ll see you later.”

“Yes, sir.” The guard pressed a button on the wall.
