“Will you still be in pain?”
I wince, pushing further up in bed, not wanting her to see me weak. “Probably.”
“Then let me give you more.”
I shake my head. “No. I need to be alert. Need to be able to protect you…” The room goes in and out of focus, and I shut my eyes tight, hoping it will ease the dizziness. It doesn’t.
“Seven, please. Let me help you.” She places her hand on my arm, and pleasurable sparks skitter across my skin. It's hard to focus on her words, but somehow, between the pain and the euphoria, I’m able to pay attention.
“Okay…” Against my better judgement, I relax back against the soft bedding.
Grace begins rubbing her hand gently up and down my arm, soothing me into a sense of calm I’ve never known before. Even without the drugs, my eyes drift closed, lulled into a peaceful trance where nothing else exists but Grace and me. I want her colors to bleed into mine. To know what it’s like to feel the light. To be full of something. To be whole. To be loved.
“Please don’t go,” I whisper, my voice cracking with raw emotion. “I don’t want to be alone anymore.”
“I’m not going anywhere, Seven. I didn’t leave when you needed me, and I’m not leaving now.” She slides her hand down, taking my hand in hers. “You can rest, Seven. You’re safe.”
Just before I slip away, I force my eyes open, staring deep into Grace’s kind brown eyes as an unfamiliar emotion pounds in my chest. It’s warm, and light, and exhilarating—and it’s the greatest high I’ve ever experienced.
“No one has ever said that to me before.” My heart pounds at the tender look in her eyes. “No one… no one ever cared enough.”
Her grip tightens, and it seems like she’s trying to take some of my pain away. “I care, Seven. I care, and I’ll keep you safe.” With her other hand, she reaches up, cupping my face. “You can let go, now.”
I stare up at her, struggling to stay awake. There’s so much I want to tell her, so much that I’ve never said. I’m worried I won’t get the chance ever again.
“It’s okay. Just close your eyes and rest,” she whispers, brushing her thumb tenderly over my cheek.
And so, I do.
Over the next few days, Grace nurses me back to health. She makes me soup, kisses my head, and cuddles with me in bed—my favorite activity besides the one Grace has dubbed “forbidden” until I’ve fully recovered.
We spend time taking care of Zorro, playing board games, and watching old movies on the TV in my apartment. It’s been a wonderful week, but it’s also been hell.
She refuses to let me breed her, saying she’s worried about my health. She doesn’t realize that denying me her sweet pussy isliterallykilling me, and if I don't have her soon, I might simply pass away.
I’ve been good for so long, but today, I can’t wait any longer.
I stalk into the kitchen where Grace is making herself a cup of tea. She turns her head over her shoulder, giving me a smile that has my balls tightening with desire.
I come up behind her, wrapping my arms around her stomach, kissing the side of her neck, and she freezes when she feels my hard length pressing into her back.
“Seven… we talked about this.”
“I know.” I nip at her ear. “And still, my cock aches for you. I think I'm sick.”
“I know you’re sick.” She leans into my touch. “That’s half the reason I like you. Why I want to be yours.”
The breath freezes in my lungs. She didn’t just…“Grace…”
She lets out a hum, closing her eyes as she turns her head into my chest. “Yes, Seven?”
“What did… you just said…”
“That I want to be yours?” She gazes up beneath her thick lashes, her lips spread in a wide grin. “I did say that.”
My grip tightens, my chest clenching as tears burn my eyes. “Say it again,” I whisper. “Please… please, say it again.”
She turns in my arms, tilting her chin up to look me straight in the eyes. She seems so sure, yet so vulnerable, and the tenderness creasing her face nearly brings me to my knees.
