She raised her hands, handcuffs dangling from one finger.

“I’m unarmed.”

I rolled my eyes.“Upstairs.”

She turned to the stairs—not before I caught her grin.

My eyes locked onto her buttocks and the way they swayed, the soft navy material clinging to her rear. I was almost disappointed when she reached the top step.

She paused and looked left, then right, before turning. I followed her down the hall as she inspected my home.

“Where are we?”

“Kent.”

“Nice.”

Her bare feet padded on the polished marble. She paused when we reached the foyer.

“Holy shit. This place is huge,” she said, circling to take in the upstairs balcony and the decorative lighting hanging above the centre.

“Would you like a tour?”

She nodded.

“I didn’t realise being a doctor paid this much.”

“I have a private clinic.”

“Hm,” she said—then ran up the staircase.“Whoa.”

She darted off and I jogged after her. The hall was empty. I followed the sound of running water to one of the bedrooms. The bathroom door was open and she was already running a bath.

“This is like a swimming pool,” she said, pushing her bottoms off.

She half-turned and tossed them at me before pouring bubble bath in. I grabbed her clothes, still warm, and felt the pink lace. Her vest hit my face. I threw her clothes aside and watched her bend over the bath, buck naked, running her hands through the water.

She was naked.

In my bathroom.

With her pussy on display.

Buttocks in the air.

I was almost angry. What if I did want to kill her? Torture her? Did she have no sense of self-preservation?

The scent of floral and citrus notes filled the air. She climbed into the tub as it continued to fill.

“Are you joining me?”

I stared at her breasts. The way the pink tips begged to be sucked on. She splashed some water on them. Wet, soapy water. One hand dipped between her thighs, and I yanked my top over my head.

Chapter 11

Anne

I could live in this bath. While Ethan stripped, I stared out at the massive windows. So much greenery. I didn’t have that in London. I not only killed people but also plants. My neighbours all had lovely flowerpots and decorative gardens while I had a monoblocked driveway and fake grass.
