“I’ve been riding most of my life.”

“And your skull is somehow stronger because of that?”

His mouth twitched. “Put the helmet on.”

“Bossy.”

“Hazel.”

“Fine.” I pulled it over my head. Bone reached beneath my chin and adjusted the strap.

His fingers brushed my skin and that tiny touch was enough to shut me up.

His eyes lifted to mine. “Too tight?”

I swallowed. “No.”

“You sure?”

“Yeah.”

His fingers lingered another second before he dropped his hand. “All right.”

He swung his leg over the bike and settled onto the seat.

God, apparently Bone getting on a motorcycle was something I needed to add to the growing list of shit I found hot about him.

He looked over his shoulder. “Get on.”

I carefully climbed on behind him. “Now what?”

“Feet there.” He pointed. I did what he said. “And hold on.”

“To what?”

Bone turned his head enough to look at me. “Me.”

Oh.

Right.

Obviously.

I slid my arms around his waist and my entire front pressed against his back.

That was... nice.

Really nice.

Bone’s hands closed around the handlebars. “Good?”

“Yep.”

“You nervous?”

“No.”

“Liar.”
