“Aw,” I mocked. “You’re such a gentleman.”

“I do what I can.”

Minutes later, we were driving up to the Port.

Once he parked the car, he reminded me, “Show me your home, baby.”

I squealed, jumping out of the car. We got on a boat, and we went to my favorite spot, El Dorado.

“Wow…” he breathed out, looking all around him. “This is… damn… I don’t have words for this.”

With the trees, the sun, the vibes, it was perfect. We got comfortable, parking by a tree. I leaned my back against his chest, loving his warmth on my skin. It was summer in Peru. The weather was perfect.

“Tell me about your life, Onyx.”

“We’re getting deep now?”

I glanced up at him through my lashes, giving him doe eyes. “Yes, please.”

For the first time since he told me on Halloween night, I blinked twice for him.

“You do know how much I love you begging me.”

I did.

“There’s not much to know.”

“You know everything about me. How about I just ask you questions and you answer them?”

He narrowed his gaze at me, and I accepted it as an invitation.

“How many women have you been with?”

He cocked his head to the side, grinning. “That’s your first question?”

“Well, as you know, you’re quite skilled, and I’d like to know how you got that way.”

“What can I say?” He kissed the top of my head. “I’m blessed from the gods.”

I giggled. “That is not an answer.”

“You’re not going to like the answer.”

“Come on, try me.”

“Hennessy…”

“Fine, is it less than ten?”

Reluctantly, he shook his head.

“Hmm… less than twenty?”

He shook his head again.

My eyes went wide. “Less than fifty?”

He blinked, debating whether to shake his head.
