I’d thought it was weird at first that I crave his mouth pressing against my ear. After researching it, I found I’m not the only one who enjoys it. Apparently, it’s not directly linked to any sexual activity for me either. When I woke yesterday morning with my back to his chest, I realised I’d subconsciously turned my head in the night, and my ear was pressed to his nose and mouth so I could hear him breathe.
It was a calming melody that had me changing my alarm to go off five minutes later so I could continue listening. Little did I know, he’d set his own alarm so he could wake me up. It blasted through the room and woke him, and I was too nervous to ask him to put his head back where it was for just a little longer.
I bite my lip to suppress my smile so the bastard doesn’t see that I’m excited at the feel of the mattress sinking behind me.
I’m supposed to be having space. I shouldn’t be happy he’s here.
Pain pricks my neck, and my eyes snap wide, my head immediately growing foggy and heavy. “R-Rain?” I panic, blinking hard, trying to straighten my blurring gaze and turn around.
A hand clasps over my mouth brutally, holding me against the mattress. My drooping eyes rim with tears when a cold and unfamiliar hand slides beneath my head to lift it.
The gloves are cotton… Rain’s are leather.
It’s not him.
My sisters are here.
Please! Please!
I scream in my mind, unable to produce the words in my numbing mouth.
Please don’t hurt them.
Why would anyone come after me? How the hell did they get into my house?
Kilah… Indie...
I fight to will my limp neck muscles to life, but my head flops, the pound of my heart echoing in the eerie silence as my lids fall closed, and I lose to whatever drug is currently pumping through my system.
The warmth of my breath spreads across my face, drawing fabric toward my mouth and momentarily suffocating me. I pry my eyes open, only to be met with darkness.
A steady rumble vibrates beneath my back, the uneven ground swaying me side to side. When I try to move my arms, it’s only then I realise they’re pulled above my head, metal is digging into my wrists, and I’m secured to something.
Breathe.
Closing my eyes, I draw a deep breath and shakily blow it out. Goosebumps stab my tight chest, spreading throughout my body as my awakening foot hits something. I’m sure the boot of a whatever car I’m in.
I’m tall. I wouldn’t fit in a boot? Unless…
I wriggle my fingers, feeling the handle I’m secured to, then my back, and realise I’m on a small incline.
The seats are down.
The rumble disappears, and I stare at the black fabric over my head, fighting the tremble of my body and the tightening of my lungs, trying not to fall into a panic.
Get it together, Rome.
Kylah. Indie. Where the hell are they?
I gasp quietly, trying to keep still when the chilling wind seeps in, forcing a shiver to run down spine. I whimper when the car rocks, and a large hand grasps my groin.
No, please, God, no.
Hot breath fans across my corded stomach, and I hiss as teeth clamp down, stretching the skin. A deep chuckle penetrates through the pounding in my ears. Recognising the depth and familiarity of it, my lungs burn with a sigh of relief.
“R-Rain?” I whisper, groaning when he bites my stomach again, sucking the skin into his mouth and leaving a throb in its wake. Air flows across the wet mark while he leaves another on my rib. My dick rushes with life as he rubs it, hard and slow, over the fabric of my sleep pants.
“Someone’s happy to see me,” he whispers.
