He growls, pulling my hips into him with his free hand until the entire length of my body is crushed against his. Forgetting where I am entirely, I lose myself to his lips, his tongue, his smell, pushing myself up on tiptoes to deepen the kiss.

“Oh god, not again. Get a room already, you horny fuckers.” Nick shouts with a laugh.

We pull away and Swayze blinks away the cloud of lust in his eyes before laughing. “You’re not wrong. The ice cube’s long gone, my girl’s too hot.”

“Bravo, Mia mou. That’s how we Greek women do it!” My mom shouts.

“Oh god. Take me now.” I bury my head in Swayze’s broad chest with a groan. Fuck my life. I’ve never heard my mom refer to sex this much and despite what I do… well, parents are a hard limit.

This guy apparently has no such issues, his chuckle vibrating through me as he playfully squeezes my ass. “Anytime, anywhere, anyhow baby.”

The rest of the afternoon goes in a similar vein, although we start to deliberately fumble some of the games so Nick and Layla get crowned couple of the day.

We come second, Swayze’s parents third, mine fourth, and Pete… welp. I think you know what’s coming. He marched over to Mario and grabbed the key off him, ripping off only his handcuff, before storming off down the beach, leaving my cousin alone staring after him.

He’s such a catch. Like herpes.

God, back in the day, I’d have run after him like a sad little puppy. Thank fuck I woke the hell up. I can’t even believe I’m thinking this, but maybe I should be thanking my cousin instead of hating her. Clearly, she did me a favor.

We spend the next few hours eating and laughing with our families. By the time Swayze and I get back to the room, we’re relaxed, full from the kebabs we ate, and more than ready to chill together.

In fact, I’m pretty sure there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

SWAYZE

Smiling, I lean against the open doorframe, quietly watching my girl. She’s curled up on the pool bed staring out at the water, wrapped in a comforter burrito. The light from the setting sun casts her tanned skin with a soft golden glow, making her look otherworldly.

Every inch my heavenly angel.

After she poured her heart out to me, she’s been less tense and a lot more open. These last few days have been pretty perfect, so I silently slide my cell from my pocket, taking a quick snap to remember this moment.

I don’t think I’m kidding myself here. Something’s definitely changed between us despite her words and I’m hopeful for the first time… maybe ever.

I know she’s scared, but I think she trusts me.

The way her eyes light up when she sees me. The genuine laughs we’ve shared—real ones, not the type she’d been defaulting to for so long. She’s so much more affectionate, cuddling and kissing me even when we’re alone.

I haven’t said anything yet, but I’m praying I’ll be able to convince her to give this a real try back home.

We wouldn’t even have to change anything, since we already live together.

Well, one of us would need to switch rooms because I’m not sure I can sleep without having her curled around me anymore, but I’m not precious about it. If she wants her bed, I’ll happily sleep there.

So long as I have my girl in my arms, I don’t give a fuck where I sleep.

It’s Nick’s wedding tomorrow, then we’re here for a couple more days afterwards. That's it. Less than seventy-two hours to convince my girl to love me back.

Or hell, just give us a chance.

Our first day here seems so long ago now. Those stressful days, when I was worried about being here and having to fake it. Turns out, I was worried about nothing because I haven’t faked shit. I’ve been treating her like she’s really mine and she’s been responding in kind.

All I need to do is man up and tell her how I feel when the time is right and hope I’ve done enough to prove myself.

To prove that if she lets go of her fear and trusts me with something as precious as her heart, I’d never abuse it.

God. What the fuck, man. I need to chill the hell out. I’m so gone for this girl I sound like a Hallmark card.
