Suzie

I was passing the tray and spotted Cameron’s phone. It was off, but I switched it on, out of curiosity. The fucking thing shrieked and the police warning flashed up.

Jonathan

How much do you know about him, Gela? You said he was in the art class you taught at a rehab centre. He could be anyone.

Gela

So Cameron has the latest tech on his phone. Why set fire to the whole studio block?

Suzie

I WAS CREATING A DIVERSION.

Ludya

It backfired. Scuse the pun.

Jonathan

It didn’t backfire, it worked. Everyone is talking about what a crazy bitch Alyson is.

Gela

Were the police called? That’s the last thing I need when my only MA course is hanging by a thread.

Ludya

Cameron flew out and deactivated the phone, so no cops, but why would a marketing exec have such high-grade security? If he shows someone a cat video, the police turn up?

Jonathan

A scare tactic to make robbers drop the phone?

Gela

Whatever phone Cameron has, whatever happened to it, you should NOT have lit a match in the art studio. For heaven’s sake!

Suzie

I panicked. I’ve just burned the rest of our printouts in the bin under the sink. Sorry, but we can’t risk being discovered.

Ludya

You burned everything? Well, how will we know the codes when we access the facility?

Suzie

We have backups.

Ludya

We do? Where do I access the backups? Jonathan?

Jonathan

Look, Gela, we’re sorry about the fire. It won’t happen again. We’ll discuss the backups between us and get on with the second assignment.
