The examiner is looking for Jonathan, Suzie and Ludya. They’ve been hiding something he wants – he told me. The old radio. He’s read our essays and coursework and wants the Spiritfinder himself. Did he really say, ‘Anyone who stands in my way can go where the head is going’? I’m in here with him now, but he can’t see me and, if I’m careful, he never will. If I’m not careful, well, what does it matter anyway?

He’s fired it up and it’s so loud I can’t hear myself think. One way or the other, this will be the third time.

I woke up this morning and it hit me … the MA course is over. It all went so quickly. I feel a mixture of sadness and relief – but excitement too, because now I can start my career with an MA Distinction. Jem Badhuri, sculptor and soundscape artist.
