I pulled out of her, and she whimpered. I looked down at her pussy, at how warm and soft and swollen she was, and slid my hand over her, cupping her sweetness.

“Did I hurt you?”

She smiled, though it didn’t reach her eyes. “No. You’re just really fucking big. So it takes me a moment to get used to you not being there anymore.”

I wanted to take that as a compliment, but I was afraid I’d hurt her. So I took her lips with mine, a gentle kiss that should have meant nothing but still scared me.

“I’ll be right back.”

“I need to get dressed anyway.”

We scrambled off one another, that awkwardness settling in.

We didn’t talk about this, or what it could mean, or what it should mean.

Luna Blair was not for me.

Nor could there be anything that came from this.

I couldn’t help but admire the roses and thorns tattooed between her breasts and cupping them, just like I had cupped them earlier with my hands. And when she turned, I found myself wanting to lean down and lick up her spine, over the vines that covered her skin.

She was one of the most striking people I’d ever met in my life, and I knew we needed to stop this.

Because nobody in our family knew that we did this. Or when it had started. Or when it needed to end.

This was a mistake, and we both knew it.

By the time we were dressed and sitting in my car, Luna looked as if she had just gotten off work and didn’t have a care in the world.

She was fiery, and all magic, and a fucking amazing person.

She annoyed me to hell sometimes, but I figured she did that on purpose.

Or maybe I just needed her to.

“Thank you for the ride.”

I smirked.

“Excuse me, but you didn’t let me be on top this time, so I don’t think you can actually let your mind go that way.”

“I’m sorry that you didn’t get what you wanted.”

“I don’t think getting what each other wants is what this is,” Luna said, before she met my gaze, and turned away.

I cleared my throat and started the car, and we awkwardly made our way to my brother’s house for a family dinner.

Luna didn’t attend them often, but Scarlett was in town and wanted to see her sister.

So we would go and sit with the Cages, and I would pretend I didn’t know how she tasted. I would pretend I didn’t want her.

“How was work today?” she asked, the awkwardness settling in.

“We didn’t buy another company today, so that was something.”

“The Cages are taking over the world, and it’s a little scary.”

“So says the woman who probably knows how to make a very big bomb.”
