Ant comes back with a damp cloth, which he must have got from the kitchen but I was too blissed out to notice him leaving.
“Let’s get you cleaned up before we deal with Noah,” he says, and then carefully wipes between my legs.
Nox leaves to come back with a glass of water for Noah. “Need us to come with you?”
I smile. “I’ll be fine, thanks.” I take the glass, then pause. “Will you… will you still be here when I get back?”
Ant pulls me in for a soft kiss, whispering against my lips, “We’ll be here, Bloom.”
CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
“TIDAL WAVE” BY CHASE ATLANTIC
BLOSSOM
It takes me a little longer than I expected to settle poor Noah, unsurprising given what he’s been through recently. I’m walking back down the hall to go find the guys in the living room, when noise coming from my bedroom has me pausing.
I head in the direction, stopping outside the door and just listening for a moment. There are no voices, but quiet sounds like something is being moved around, and my brows drop.
What on earth is going on?
Grasping the handle, I open the door to find all three guys, shirtless, putting the finishing touches to what looks like a bed on the floor. My own bed has been pushed to the side, and there seems to be two mattresses on the floor, covered in pillows and blankets.
Something warm and contented unfurls in my chest.
“What’s this?”
Steele looks over at me, then shuffles his feet a little, biting his bottom lip. “We figured you’d want some company tonight after… everything. So we moved one of our mattresses in here.”
“Unless you want us to go back to the poolhouse?” Nox adds, his green eyes intense and his body poised even though he’s trying for loose and casual.
“We’re not leaving until you tell us to, Blossom,” Ant adds, his tone quiet and sure, and a lump forms in my throat.
“I want you to stay. And tomorrow we’ll look for a bigger bed for in here, for when you want to sleep over,” I tell them coming into the room and shutting the door behind me.
“Sounds like a plan, Bloom,” Ant agrees with a devastating smile that he’s wearing more often these days.
“Come to bed, Flower,” Steele softly commands, lying down and lifting the cover up for me. “I’ve missed holding you while we sleep.”
“Me too,” I whisper as I make my way over, climbing in beside him, deciding I can shower in the morning as my eyelids grow heavy and a yawn almost cracks my jaw.
Ant comes over on my other side, Steel turning me so he’s the big spoon to my little. Nox is last to get in, switching off the light so the room is in semi darkness, only the moon casting a soft glow where the curtains are a little open. He settles on the other side of Ant, and he doesn’t seem to mind, just turns to face me while Ant lies on his back and I rest my hand on his muscled chest.
“What about…?” I ask, Ant looking at me as I glance down to where his crotch is. He’s not hard anymore, but he and Nox didn’t get an orgasm like Steele and I did. Or in my case, several.
Ant’s large hand comes up, cupping my face. “Tonight was about you, Bloom. About showing you that you’re ours and we’re not going anywhere. Nox and I can wait.”
“You need sleep, Princess,” Nox orders, his voice gruff but tender, and I look past Ant to see he has his Dom face on. “We need you to know we’re not just here for sex. We’re here because…” He swallows hard, the green of his eyes brightening. “Because fuck, you’re everything.”
Steele snuggles into my back closer, burying his face in my hair and taking a deep inhale.
“Stay,” I whisper into the darkness, closing my eyes and nuzzling into Ant’s hand. “Please stay.”
“We’re not going anywhere, Bloom,” Ant replies, pressing a soft kiss to my lips.
My entire body relaxes, each muscle softening as the warmth and darkness claim me.
Soft classical music, Lark Ascending, wakes me from my sleep, sunlight replacing the moonlight now filling the room.
