Zita lifted her head and pouted.
Obi-Wan chuckled. “After we eat, you can have your way with me. Okay?”
“I’m holding you to that.”
“You’ll get no protests from me, because I plan on having you for dessert myself. I didn’t get to taste you. Things moved too fast for me to do everything I’ve imagined.”
“You complaining?” she asked with an adorable tilt of her head.
“Fuck no. No complaints here. You’re amazing, Zita. And I’m a lucky son of a bitch.”
“Damn straight,” she said with a grin.
This woman. She slayed him. And Obi-Wan had no problems with being completely besotted. Not at all.
He got up and put his pants back on, wincing at their dampness from being out in the rainy weather all day. Then he grabbed all the other clothes strewn about the floor, hanging them up in the bathroom so they could dry overnight. It wasn’t much longer before there was a knock on the door—and by the shit-eating grin on Zeke’s face, he knew exactly what they’d been doing instead of eating dinner.
But Obi-Wan didn’t care if the whole world knew he and Zita were making love. He wasn’t about to hide their relationship.
The food disappeared quickly, as they were both starving, and after Obi-Wan threw away their trash and took his pants off once more, he climbed back under the covers. He made his way down Zita’s body until her legs were spread around his shoulders. Her pussy was a bit swollen, and the smell of her sex made his mouth water.
“Hey, I thought I was going to have my way with you,” she complained with a grin, as she propped herself on her elbows and looked down her body at him.
“After. If you go first, I won’t have the control to be able to do this…” Obi-Wan lowered his head and licked up her slit, stopping at her clit. She jerked in his hold and dropped back down to the mattress.
“Oh, all right. If you must,” she joked.
Still smiling, Obi-Wan got to work pleasing his woman.
An hour later, they were both sweaty and completely wrung out. He’d eaten her to another orgasm, then she’d given him the best blow job he’d ever had. He’d stopped her just in time to climb on top of her and take her the way he’d dreamed—hard and fast, her fingernails digging into his upper arms as she moaned and urged him to go even harder.
Zita was made for him, and he was made for her. He was hers. Completely and utterly. He’d do anything for this woman.
That thought should’ve scared him, but instead, it made Obi-Wan smile with contentment. She was currently lying mostly on his chest once more, snoring lightly. His arm was around her shoulders, holding her against him as he drifted off to sleep.
They only had a few more days on set before it would wrap. They’d both have hard decisions to make, and the only thing Obi-Wan was sure of was the fact that he wasn’t going to let this go. He and Zita had a connection not a lot of people got to have in their lifetime. No matter what happened, he’d fight for the right to be her boyfriend. Her man.
Because that’s what he was. Hers.
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Zita was excited about today. Not for herself, because today would be just another day on set for her, but for Sage. Today was the day he’d been waiting for since filming began. It was helicopter day.
He was like a little kid excited about a trip to the zoo. Or to an amusement park. His anticipation was palatable. And it was adorable.
She didn’t even care that he was preoccupied this morning, or that he’d sprung out of bed thirty minutes before his alarm was set to go off. She would’ve liked to have spent their first morning after becoming intimate cuddling a bit more. But while Sage had no problem spooning her and holding her all night, he wasn’t exactly a “cuddler.”
Zita had no idea sex could be so intimate. She’d obviously slept with the wrong people in the past. Sage was not only an exceptional lover, he was attentive, unselfish, and throughout the night was focused completely on her. It was a novel experience. And she truly felt as if he cared for her. He wasn’t in her bed to scratch an itch.
He was bossy and confident, and he had no problem letting her know what he needed and wanted. But because they were the exact things she wanted, Zita was happy to let him take the lead. Even when she’d gone down on him, there was no doubt he was still in charge. Which actually thrilled her.
Making love to Obadiah Engle had already changed her life…but Zita wasn’t sure what she was going to do about it. If he asked her, she’d move to Virginia in a heartbeat. Hollywood had gotten old, and she’d been ready for a change for a while now. But was moving across the country for a man the right thing to do? What if this was just a novelty? Something new and exciting that would wane once they saw each other on a regular basis? She didn’t think it was, at least not on her part, but would Sage change his mind?
Would she be able to deal with his deployments? Especially knowing how dangerous they were? Would they be able to work around her schedule? Would he resent her when she left for a month or more to work on a film set? Trust that she wouldn’t stray? Was he the jealous type?
She still had so many questions…but she truly believed they could work through any hardships they might encounter that came with a relationship. Being with someone wasn’t easy. It took a lot of work. But Sage was worth it.
Would he feel the same about her?
