“Where’d they get that from?”

Knox looks up and says, “From their other daddy.”

I look at him with surprise in my eyes and then look over to where Cooper is still sitting talking to the little baby. To be a fly in the wall over there. You wouldn’t think men this big and these big ass bikers could be this sweet and this soft, but from everything that I have seen around the Untamed and around the Devil’s Chaos club these men put family at the same level as the club. The club is their family and I am glad to have been born into a family and a club like this. I know there are some out there that are not like this.

I reach my hand in and rub my finger along Ronan’s skin.

“So the doctors told me what everything is that they have, I don’t know what all you know from your schooling yet. But they told me that right now the babies have a lot of respiratory and monitoring equipment. They have ventilators to assist with breathing, an endotracheal tube, a pulse oximeter, a cardiac monitor, temperature probes, an umbilical catheter, a feeding tube and an IV line. A lot of stuff and really I didn’t follow a lot of it. I am surprised I even remembered all the names. But they did tell me that we should be able to hold them soon, but we need to kangaroo. The nurse explained that as skin to skin, so I asked my mom to get us all some button down shirts to wear when we come visit. We also need to make sure we are washing hands and arms up to the elbows and no strong scents. They did tell me too that you should be able to breast feed them if you want in two to three weeks. Right now everything is going through the feeding tube until they are a little bigger and can get that suckling thing down. But they did suggest you pump every two hours to keep your supply up. That’s if you want.”

I chuckle at that, “Knox, thank you. The doctors did come in and give me a little bit of this information earlier, but it means a lot to me that you know and that you told me.”

I place my hand on his and he bends down and gives me a kiss. “I love you, you know that?”

He puts his forehead on mine, “I love you too.”

I move my head back to sweet little Ronan, “Hello my sweet boy, I’m your mama. I’m so glad you are here and I can’t wait to hold you and feed you. More importantly I can’t wait to bring you home, you get all big and strong for me, okay? You’re such a big strong boy already. I love you so, so much.”

Knox gives me a little bit of time with Ronan before we move to the next bed and he does the same thing introducing me to the baby, “This is Rowan.” Knox tells me and that means my little girl is currently being spoiled by Cooper. Rowan is wearing a black Untamed Rebels hat over his head and also has a teddy bear next to his crib with a Devil’s Chaos cut. I talk with him as well and tell him how much I love him and can’t wait for him to get big and strong so that he can come home with us. Moving me over to the last incubator, Cooper looks up from his seat and smiles at me. I look down at my sweet baby girl and smile. She is wearing a pink hat that says Club Princess on it. Then there are tiny little insignias underneath it. If you look there is one for the Untamed and one for Chaos. I smile and look up at the men with me.

“Who did that?”

“Well Cooper talked with some of the ol’ ladies at the Chaos clubhouse and they came up with the idea and ordered it for her. She is two clubs, club princess. He is going to rule a bunch of men. She’s already got two wrapped around her tiny little finger.”

Next to her bed is a tiny little purple unicorn, one that is sitting up and has arms almost like a teddy bear, she is also wearing a cut that says, Property of Fang & Whip. with two insignia’s in the middle.

“You guys did so much.”

“Only the best for our babies, Peyton.” Cooper says and smiles at me.

I didn’t realize how much I needed both of these men to get through all of this, but I see now that I do. Maybe that is just the hormones talking and I will come back to my senses later. I know both these men care for our babies and that is what is important to me.

Chapter Eighteen

Bulldog

Receiving that call from Cannon was unexpected and hit a mix of all the emotions that I think I can feel. I am excited to meet and see my new grandbabies, I am scared for Peyton and everything that is going to come with this process, the babies being born this early and everything I have to face with the fact that my beautiful wife will not be meeting these babies. I hate that thought and I want to shut out that thought before I get too deep into all those thoughts that are dark and I have been trying to put out of my mind by burying myself into finding the twins and finding these assholes that are trying to hurt my family. The people who have already hurt my family. We booked the earliest flight I could get and that was for a few hours after I got the call. I told both Cooper and Cannon to keep me posted on what is going on and so far I have heard that they are in the hospital and still waiting for information about what is happening.

When we got to North Carolina, since Devil’s Hollow is an hour outside of Charlotte. When we grab our bags we head out to the front of the airport where I knew someone from Untamed will be waiting. When Davis, Tillie and I get to the exit we see the future president of the Untamed Rebels National chapter standing there waiting for us. Tillie runs to him and throws herself in his arms and he picks her up and she wraps her little legs and arms around him.

“Callum!” Davis says as he walks up to my nephew and they give each other a side hug because he can’t give him an actual hug because my little spider monkey isn’t going to let go of her cousin.

They might have not known The Evans their whole lives because of the messed up circumstances we have, but they sure welcomed them with open arms. They really have all become close. I have loved getting to know all of my new nieces and nephews as well. We definitely talk regularly. Callum has come to the club many times to hang out with his cousin and to see how our club operates compared to his. The same goes for all of them. We have housed them all many times. Especially after everything that happened with Missy. They have all come and gone many times.. I am glad that I met this part of my family and a little upset that I never got to meet them earlier.

“Uncle Devin, how are you holding up?”

“I’m hanging in there, Callum. Thank you for coming up and grabbing us.You heard anything about what’s going on?”

“It’s no problem, you guys are family.” He says as he rubs Tillie’s back. “I haven’t heard anything about what is going on, but they might have messaged me since I got here. Might have even messaged you.”

I pull out my phone as we walk to the car making sure to grab Tillie’s bag and put it over my shoulder with mine. Sure enough after I turn my phone on I get several messages flooding my phone.

Cannon: Knox just came out and told all of us that Peyton had to go into a c-section to safely have the triplets. He said that she told him that he had to stay with the babies so he wanted to get Cooper to sit with Peyton until she can go and see the babies.

Gavin: I sent Callum to pick you up at the airport. I hope you guys get here safely. We will keep your family safe while you are on the way, brother.

Luca: Give Peyton our love, we will come visit when we can.

Tanner: Heard Peyton is in labor and you left to go there with Tills and Davis. Travel safe dad, give her my love.
