“No, I’m not really okay Peyton. I just had my world turned upside down.”

“Do you know what you’re going to do?”

“I think I’m going to have to get paternity tests done. Never in my life have I thought that this would be my life. To find out that one of my brothers is really my father is definitely messing with my head. I know we have to talk about everything Peyton and I promise we will. I just need to get all this sorted. I think I’m going to be staying here for a little while, but can we talk every night? Also with the babies? I already miss them.”

“Yeah, we can do that. They miss you already too.”

“Are they in bed?”

“Yeah they’re sleeping. Do you want to send me a video and I can show it to them in the morning? Then send you a video of them before I head to school?”

“Yeah baby, I’d love that. Thank you.”

“You’re welcome. You know you can talk to me whenever you want. I’m here for you.”

“I know, baby. I love you. Goodnight.”

“Goodnight Cooper.”

With that she hangs up and I take my video telling my babies good morning and that I love them and miss them. After I am done I send the video to Peyton before I head out to the common area to find out all the ways my life is about to change.

Chapter Twenty-Eight

Whip

I find Terror in his office, I knock and walk in closing the door behind me.

“So, have you made any phone calls I need to be aware of?” I ask him as I sit down.

“Listen, I know you guys expected me to get in touch with those brothers, but no I didn’t. I feel like you should do that if you want. But I am going to have to let them know what has developed. I think you should tell them tonight and if you want I can be here for you while you do that. You are family Whip, you’ve always been family. Ever since Thorn brought your scrawny ass home when you were six.”

I chuckle at that, I know that the Jacobson’s consider me family and I know that when Terror was eight and Thorn and I were six that was when the friendships began. I look up at the guy who was more of a big brother to me than my own big brother and nod my head.

“Who do you think we should call first? Your dad says that he thinks Devil or Chains.”

“I mean, to me that would make the most sense. Do you want to start with them and then we can work through the other ones? Maybe do DNA tests with those two first?”

I sigh, “I guess Terror. I am really having a lot of mixed feelings about everything right now.”

“I know you are, but you know I know that you want to know despite the mixed feelings. I know you want a deeper relationship with your family and all those men have kids Whip. Your siblings. Siblings that are much better than the ones you were given. Also now that I’m thinking about that, you’re gonna also have to call Evan.”

Fuck. He’s right, I haven’t thought about that. This is something Evan’s going to want to know. It doesn’t change our relationship, but he’s my little brother and he deserves to know what’s going on.

“I’ll call him after I talk to everybody else.”

Terror nods and grabs his phone, “How bout I make the calls so they know it is important? Not saying they wouldn’t answer for you, but it’s late and they are all at home.”

“That’s fine. Let’s start with Devil. I have a feeling Rage might have made a stop by their house anyway.”

“Fuck. I didn’t even think of that. He left right after we got up to the clubhouse. I didn’t notice if he went to his house or if he went to his dad’s.”

I know this is going to mess with Rage’s head no matter what because he’s got some sort of shit in his head already. I can’t understand exactly what he is going through, but I know this situation is going to piss him off in some way.

The phone rings and Devil answers on the second ring.

“Hey there, Pres, what’s going on?”

“Hey so I’ve got Whip here and we have something important to discuss with you.”
