"Is this just a thought, or are you actually proposing something?"

Marina draws in a sharp breath and holds it for a few seconds. She didn't wake up this morning thinking about this, hadn't even seriously considered it, but now that it's out there, she decides to go for it.

"It started as a thought and turned into a proposal. Do you want to move in with me? You don't have to answer right now — take your time—"

"I want to," Olga says.

Marina cups her face and kisses her, swallowing the sound of her own nervous laugh. She takes her by the waist and turns her, then grabs a handful of her ass so Olga can push herself up onto the marble counter.

The assistant hoists herself up — and not only sits on the counter, but opens her legs so Marina can settle between them.

"Before I devour you, I have one more proposal."

Olga's mouth drops open.

"What proposal?"

"Tomorrow we officially close the deal with Nauta."

Olga's smile widens and she lets out a breath when she remembers that acquisition was what really brought them together — that because of all those extra hours they'd spent working over Christmas and the first trip to Lisbon, she'd gotten to know Marina for real and apparently made her fall in love without even knowing it.

"Finally," the assistant says. "It's over."

"Exactly — which means we can take the vacation days we had to skip over Christmas, plus an extra week courtesy of Javier for landing a significant discount on the price."

"Seriously?" Olga laughs, and if she weren't sitting with her legs open in front of her boss and desperate for her to fuck her, she'd be jumping up and down.

"Yes." Marina runs her thumb along her lower lip and Olga goes very still. "I want to use part of those days to go to Tenerife to see my mom, and I'd love for you to come with me."

The color drains from the assistant's cheeks.

"You want me to meet your mom?" Her eyes go wide with shock.

"I could introduce you as a friend, but I've already told her about you, so that won't work — but if it's too much or you have other plans, that's okay too. We can save it for another time."

"No, I mean, yes—" Olga trips over her own words. "I mean, yes, I want to go. I've never been to Tenerife and I'd love to go with you, but can we stay at a hotel? I don't think I could survive meeting your mom and living under the same roof with her on the same trip."

Marina bursts out laughing.

"Don't worry — I never stay at her place when I visit."

"Really?" Olga stares at her, puzzled.

"My mom is wonderful, but she still has this habit of walking into my room without knocking. When I was ten it was fine, at fifteen it was annoying, and at my age it's completely out of the question. I just can't."

Olga ends up crying with laughter.

"Okay, then I'm in."

"Yeah?" Marina presses closer as she slips off her blazer and sets it on the vanity.

"Uh-huh," the assistant breathes, exhaling in short, broken gasps when Marina pulls over the bathroom stool and sits down on it.

Olga tangles her fingers in Marina's upswept hair — held back with a clip — not caring if she messes it up, because she's so turned on that she can't let Marina torture her the way she does when she wants to punish her, brushing her mouth over her thighs or working her fingers between her folds. She needs her there, and they don't have much time either, so she rolls her hips forward while she pulls Marina toward her, and moans hard when Marina's tongue presses against her and then sucks.

They make it to work just in time, walking through the building's front door hand in hand, greeting the security guard, and rushing to the elevator, where they let go of each other laughing, steal one last kiss, and look each other over to make sure their clothes are both in order.

Marina had told Human Resources about the relationship. She did it as soon as they got back from Lisbon, in a ten-minute conversation with Núria where she answered a few routine questions and signed the form she was given. Since then, half the staff has figured out they're a couple — not because they announce it or show affection at work, but because they simply don't hide it. The moment they step outside the building, their fingers find each other and they walk together before going their separate ways to their respective apartments, though before long they won't have to do that anymore.
