Little minx.
She closes the door.
I hold out my hand.
Ella crosses the room and places hers in mine.
I pull her into my lap.
The effect is instant. My shoulders drop and some of the tension from the conversation about Rob begins to ease.
“Tommy,” she whispers through a laugh. “What if someone comes in?”
“They knock.”
“That is not exactly a security system.”
I kiss the side of her neck.
Ella tilts her head, giving me more room.
My lips find the spot beneath her ear.
She makes a small sound and curls her fingers into my shirt.
That noise is going to be the death of me.
“Are you coming over tonight?” she asks.
Her hand slides down my chest and lower until she cups me through my trousers.
My cock reacts instantly.
“A thousand angry hotel guests couldn’t keep me away.”
Ella laughs and gives my chest a gentle slap.
“Don’t say things like that. We’ve been complaint-free for four weeks.”
“That sounded suspiciously proud.”
“It’s practically a record.”
She isn’t wrong.
No matter how good the hotel is, something will eventually go wrong. A shower leaks. A meal arrives late. Somebody’s pillow is apparently three per cent too firm.
Then there are the guests who step through a hotel entrance and forget every social skill they have ever possessed.
Perfectly reasonable people can become complete arseholes the moment they decide paying for a room means the staff belong to them.
“I don’t want to talk about guests.”
I pull Ella closer and kiss her.
She responds immediately, one hand moving into my hair.
My fingers slide along her thigh and beneath the hem of her pencil skirt.
