Nathaniel

Nathaniel watched in awe as Kira morphed, silently cheering her on even as he feared for her.

She morphed slowly, as if she was distracted, the golden magic swirling around her body and making her skin glow.

“Yes,” Henrikk exclaimed, cutting himself off mid-speech and staring at her with relish. “Transform for me, slut. Let us see your true form.”

Fur began to swirl across Kira’s neck and shoulders, visible where his father had half-torn her dress off. He did not wait for her transformation to complete before he began rutting her again.

“Yes,” he groaned, pushing his hips against her in quick succession.

Kira’s skirt lifted as long, fur-tipped tails appeared, reaching behind her to wrap around Henrikk’s middle. Rather than wrench him away, however, she held him bound against her, the whip-like tails preventing Henrikk from taking his cock out.

“Ha,” he bellowed, increasing the intensity of his thrusts as he invited the audience to laugh with him. “Behold, the tamed bitch. See how she wants it? See—?”

It all happened so fast. Kira’s controlled transformation from human into wolf.

But even Nathaniel had forgotten about her other wolf form, and its appearance was delayed, held in time and space for those extra few seconds, long enough that Henrikk let down his guard.

Her second wolf form materialised behind Henrikk. Its hackles raised and fangs bared in a snarl, her growl so deep it was inaudible except for the tremors it sent through the room.

No one in the room moved to stop her, as if they were entranced…

Or influenced not to.

As the other wolf whimpered beneath the Vampire King’s assault, the second wolf leapt into the air and seized Henrikk’s neck, its long fangs clamping down on his throat.

Crunch.

The wolf shook him violently, creating a series of clicks and crunches as bone snapped, before she released him.

Henrikk was dead before he hit the ground.

Panting heavily, its fur raised aggressively, the wolf circled the one that was whimpering on the ground protectively. Licking its muzzle once with its own bloodied tongue, before turning bright golden eyes at Nathaniel.

No, not at me.

At the guards.

Her harsh command radiated out into the guards’ mind with so much force that Nathaniel heard its echo in his: “Release him.”

The guards dropped him at the same time that the double doors at the far end of the Throne Room burst open.

Byron and Mary stood in the doorway wearing faded guard uniforms from a bygone era. Their faces were stricken, their hands wielding deadly scimitars.

Behind them were wolves—at least a hundred of them. Perhaps more.

Students.

Those loyal to Kira had come to her aid. She must have sent them before Victoria captured her.

Kira’s wolf forms rose: one fierce, one timid—both a force to be reckoned with. Her harsh command swept through the room, making every person cower as they reached their target.

“Kill the vampires,” she ordered.

Mary and Byron charged forward with swords raised, the wolves in hot pursuit as they attacked the unsuspecting guests.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel swung a fist at a made vampire beside him, and Kira’s wolf forms killed the others, making short work of the undead abominations.
