“No,” she mewled. She pulled at his hair so that she could slam her lips against his. She bit at his lower lip, then thrust her tongue into his mouth, reveling in his taste.

“Wildcat.” He breathed the word before taking over the kiss. Gianna moved one hand so that she could push up under his shirt, needing to feel the heat of his skin. As soon as she touched him, she sighed her pleasure into his mouth. He sucked her tongue into his mouth and she melted deeper into his arms.

She pushed her hand up and up, loving the satin smoothness of his back over the thick muscles. She took her time, stopping, kneading, and scratching.

“Cher, you’re killing me.” His hands began a trail of their own down her back until they squeezed her ass. Gianna squirmed as her core was drenched with heat. She’d never been so turned on in her life.

“Sebastian,” she moaned, trying to push even closer. She began tugging at his shirt, attempting to pull it over his head. Her legs began to twist and she heard paper tearing. It took a moment to figure out what was going on.

“Oh no.” She pushed at Sebastian’s chest.

“What’s wrong, cher?”

She scrambled back up into a sitting position and saw where the heels of her boots had ripped some of the papers on the floor. When Sebastian saw what had her upset, he pulled her back into his arms. “It’s fine, Gianna.”

“No. I ruined it.”

He kissed the top of her head. “It’s going to be fine,” he whispered again. His warm hand stroked her long hair down the length of her back, and she felt herself melt into his embrace.

They stayed like that for a long time before Gianna pushed back and looked up at him. “I have a question.”

“Okay,” he smiled gently. “Shoot.”

“How didn’t Ophelia know you were being abused?”

Gianna watched as Sebastian’s face morphed into rage. “He never hurt me in a way that would show over my clothes.” Sebastian’s words were quiet. “He told me that if word ever got out that I’d been beaten, he’d tell everyone it was Neil that had done it, and he’d end up in prison.”

Gianna gasped.

“He would have, too. It all stopped when I was thirteen. I ripped that stick out of his hands and knocked him to the ground. He was cowering beneath me, but he told me if I hurt him, he’d say that Neil had done it.” He stared down at Gianna. “I hate that his blood runs through my veins.”

“Stop that,” she whispered. “You’ve got to remember that you’re also your mother’s son. Trust me, I know. Think about my father.”

Sebastian dipped his head so that his forehead could rest against hers. “You’re right. Thank you, cher.”
