My hair falls around my face in a black curtain. I kick my legs hard, my fist pounding against the solid muscle of his back. But it’s no use. His arm locks around the backs of my thighs, the knife still securely in his other hand.

“Put me the fuck down. Please. Please put me down.” I beg, frantically hitting at his back as if it will make any difference.

He just starts casually walking, whistling a little tune as though he doesn’t have a terrified woman thrown over his shoulder trying to kick the shit out of him.

“Where are you taking me?” Nothing. “Please, just—”

His palm cracks against my ass. I gasp, my entire body jolting in response. For one stunned second, I stop fighting. Heat blooms beneath my skin where his hand landed and my brain completely fucking short-circuits. Did he just—

“You—” A deep laugh rumbles through him. I can feel it against my stomach where I’m pressed over his shoulder. “You fucking dick!”

My face burns. My ass burns. Everything fucking burns. Fear. Adrenaline. Embarrassment. That traitorous pulse of something else that I refuse to examine while hanging upside down over the shoulder of a masked man carrying a knife through the fucking woods.

He suddenly stops and drops me. I hit the forest floor on my knees with a startled cry, my palms catching against damp leaves as pain bites into my skin. I immediately try to stand, but a large black boot moves into my line of sight and I freeze.

Slowly, I lift my head. Cracked Mask stands directly in front of me, knife hanging loosely beside his thigh. My breathing turns shallow as I stare up at him. Movement sounds from around me, two more figures appearing. I look left to find XX standing there, neon pink eyes glowing against the black mask. I look right and find Skull, huge and silent, watching down at me. He’s the only one with visible eyes, but it doesn’t make him any less intimidating.

Three masked men, standing over me like gods of the dark, illuminated by the moon. My knees dig into the damp earth, the chill seeping straight through my bones. Three pairs of eyes—neon pink, forest green, and the shadowed voids of the cracked mask—pin me in place. Cracked Mask doesn’t speak. He just looks down at me, knife swaying loosely in his hand, the black fracture lines across his stark white mask catching what little moonlight filters through the trees above.

XX breaks the silence first. “Well, well,” he drawls, his voice deep, filthy with a sarcastic edge curling through every word. “Look at you. All pretty and panting on your knees for us. Did you plan this outfit specifically for the hunting, or is this just a happy accident?”

I glare up at him, chest still heaving. “Fuck you.” It was supposed to come out harsh, yet came out as barely a whisper.

He laughs, low and delighted. “Oh, little bunny. We’re getting there. Patience.”

Skull steps closer, boots silent on the forest floor. When he speaks, his voice isn’t as menacing as XX, but there’s still steel underneath it. “You ran hard, pretty girl. Gave us a good chase.” His hand comes down, black painted fingers sliding into my tangled hair. “But you surely knew how this would end.”

My pulse kicks hard. The heat that had been simmering under the fear flares bright. I’m still terrified, but the way they’re looking down at me makes my thighs press together on instinct. Cracked mask moves next, crouching in front of me. Despite being lowered, he still towers above me, so he uses the tip of his knife to tilt my chin up. The metal is cold, sharp enough that I feel the threat of it without him drawing blood. HIs voice, when it comes, is so low and deadly it makes me shiver.

“That little scream you do when you’re scared is fucking delightful.” His free hand reaches out and grips my jaw hard enough to bruise. “But I felt the way your breathing hitched when I spanked you. Don’t pretend fear is the only thing you’re feeling right now, little slut.”

I try to jerk back but he doesn’t let me. XX circles out of view, the heat of his body at my back as he lowers himself behind me. His face finds the side of my neck, mask cool against my skin, voice pure filth against my ear.

“I bet she’s soaked already. Filthy little thing, running through the woods half-naked, getting wet for the monsters who caught her.” His hand slides around my waist, under the hem of my top, palm rough and claiming against my stomach. “Want me to check, Ryker? Confirm how desperate our pretty girl already is?”

Ryker? Skull’s fingers tighten in my hair, tilting my head back further so I’m arched between them—throat exposed to Cracked Mask’s knife, body open to XX’s wandering hand.

“Do it, Knoxx,” Skull says quietly. “Let her feel how little control she has left.”

Okay. Skull is Ryker. XX is Knoxx. Of course they have names like that. Knoxx’s laugh is pure wicked amusement. His hand shoves past the waistband of my shorts without any hesitation, fingers finding me bare and slick. Two thick fingers slide through my slit, parting me, and the sound that leaves my throat is half-sob, half moan.

“Jesus fuck,” Knoxx groans against my neck. “She’s dripping. Look at that, Kai. Chase her through the trees, slap her ass, put her on her knees and she’s ready to take whatever we give her.”

Cracked Mask’s name barely registers in my brain as Knoxx pushes two fingers inside me without warning. My body clenches around the sudden sting of the stretch, a broken sound tearing out of me. Kai watches every flicker of my face, knife still pressed under my chin.

“Quiet,” Kai orders in a low growl. “Or I’ll give you something to truly scream about.”

Ryker’s releases my hair to swipe away a tear I didn’t realise had fell. My eyes find his deep green gaze, his head tilted slightly as he watches me.

“Breathe, pretty girl,” he murmurs. “You’re going to take what we give you. All of it. And you’re going to thank us when we’re done.”

Knoxx curls his fingers inside me, finding that spot that makes my hips jerk helplessly. “Trick or treat?” He taunts. “Beg nicely for a treat, Violet.”

I shake my head, stubborn even now, even with their hands on me and my body screaming for a pleasure I shouldn’t want.

Kai’s grip tightens, his cracked mask close to my face as the knife tip presses just a fraction harder. “Beg.”

Ryker’s voice softens, “you can fight. We like it when you fight. But your body’s already decided, Violet. Look at how wet you are for us. Look at how you’re shaking.” His thumb brushes over my lower lip. “Beg for a treat. Let us ruin you properly.”
