I reached out and grabbed her hand, lacing our fingers together. “You’re welcome. But we’re not done yet, Sunshine.”
“What else is up your sleeve tonight, Superstar?”
“Location number two is actually top secret.” I reached behind my seat and pulled out a little duffel bag, placing it in her lap.
“Is this the part where you murder me? Just so you know, Owen has my location.”
I rolled my eyes. “If I was going to murder you, why would I present my murder tools?” I tapped my temple with my pointer finger. “I’m smarter than that.”
She eyed me skeptically but reached into the bag and pulled out the black silk blindfold I hid in there.
“Kinky.” She winked at me before tying the blindfold over her eyes and sitting back in her seat.
I took the opportunity to lean over and capture her mouth with mine. She gasped at the unexpected touch but gripped my shirt, keeping me in place.
“I didn’t bring it for that reason, baby, but we can definitely keep it around for later if you’re into that,” I whispered against her lips.
She bit her bottom lip and nodded subtly.
The idea of her being tied up in my bed went straight to my cock. Against my better judgment, I kissed her again quickly and sat back to shift the car into drive and start toward our next location.

I wasn’t sure how long we drove. All I could focus on was the feeling of the silky material on my skin from the blindfold covering my eyes. I felt the car stop and heard Mason shift into park. He unclipped his seat belt and got out of the car. The silence was alarming until I heard my door open and felt the warm air rush into the car.
He unclipped my seat belt and took my hand, guiding me out of the vehicle. With two hands on my shoulders, he started walking me in front of him. The ground beneath my feet was smooth so I knew we weren’t on some dirt path where he would stab me or bury me alive.
I heard a door open in front of me, but I couldn’t see any light through the black fabric and there were no sounds of people or music. We took a few more steps inside before Mason stopped me and turned me around.
He took my blindfold off suddenly, but when I opened my eyes all I saw was darkness.
“Are you ready?” he asked.
I nodded, but he couldn’t see me in the dark space.
Suddenly, the lights illuminated a warehouse, and I had to blink to adjust to the bright lights. Once my eyes adjusted, I realized there were massive photographs along movable walls in an intricate design around us.
I walked up to the plaque on the one closest to us and my jaw dropped. I spun around, my bun shifting on my head as even more pieces fell out of it.
“This is an Angelo Irlington photo. Is this real?”
Mason had the cockiest grin on his face as he nodded.
“How?”
He shrugged casually. “One of the guys on the team is an investor in the gallery. The show opens tomorrow but they let us in tonight.”
“This is amazing.” My voice was shaky. Angelo Irlington’s shows were wildly exclusive. He personally invited everyone and only sold to those he deemed worthy of his work.
“Look around, Sunshine.”
I was beaming as I moved onto the next photo and then the next, analyzing the composition and the way each of them made me feel. By the time I made it around the entire room, I was truly amazed. Mason walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my middle as I lingered on the last photo display. I leaned back into his chest.
“What do you see?” I asked him.
“Age. Wisdom. Life. I’m not really sure, but when I look at them I want to smile and reflect on my life.”
