I cover my mouth with my hand to stifle my smile because the last thing in the world I want to do is make fun of her when she is so fucking cute and confident in her answer. I’ll let Lottie handle this one, too.

“Really, Aunt Tess? Do you live under a rock? It’s Darth Vader. D-A-R-T-H. I should have known you knew nothing about Star Wars when you said the wrong catchphrase the other day. I just didn’t know it was this bad.”

Tess throws up her hands. “Okay, fine, you caught me. I’ve never seen them.”

I approach her and I can sense her pulse quickening like mine. The air becomes thick between us again and I can’t help but smile as I place my hands on her shoulders and lead her toward the couch. Her breath hitches when I touch her and my mind goes completely in the gutter. I’m picturing her naked on my bed again, moaning my name. She goes willingly.

“All right, sit down. You are officially joining our watch party.” Her mouth parts and before she can come up with some lame-ass excuse, I say, “Oh, and the main character’s name is Luke Skywalker, by the way.”

Lottie decides to start from Episode One instead of Episode Four, even though I’d rather watch Episode Four first. She thought Tess would ask too many questions and ruin the vibe of the watch party if we did any type of time jump or prequel situation. We know that inevitably we have to break up our marathon into multiple days. Luckily, tonight we make it to Revenge of the Sith. As Anakin and Obi Wan Kenobi face off toward the end of the film, Tess says, “I would go over to the darkside in a heartbeat if that was who was waiting for me.”

Lottie grimaces and mimics throwing up. “What? Ew, Aunt Tess. Hayden Christensen is super old. Not to mention, he’s the villain.”

“Villains are hot.” Tess shrugs and smiles simultaneously, keeping her eyes locked on the screen, knowing that it’s striking a nerve with Lottie. Little does she know that she’s also striking a nerve with me.

“And heroes aren’t?” I snap. Did I just say that out loud? Both Lottie and Tess turn their heads to me. I focus on Tess with equal amounts of lust and annoyance that she would choose the villain over the hero.

She picks up that she struck a nerve with me and instead of backing down, she subtly bites her bottom lip and reinforces her position. “Villains are just so mysterious and dangerous. Ergo, hot.”

“Shhh, guys this is the best part,” Lottie chimes in.

Ignoring her, I present my final point to this silly duel we are engaged in. “Heroes are the ones who get the girl in the end, so joke’s on the villain.”

My comment goes completely over Lottie’s head since she’s so focused on the film all of us are supposed to be watching. Instead, I’m watching a much more entertaining show: the fire burning in Tess’ eyes. The same fire ignited in my chest.

The credits roll and there is a subtle snore coming from Lottie. At some point in the final minutes of the movie, Lottie fell asleep. She is laying against Tess’ shoulder, looking entirely at ease and comfortable. Tess follows my gaze and whispers, “We should probably wake her to go upstairs.”

I stand and reach down to pick Lottie up. “No, I got her.”

Tess quietly protests, “Oakley! No, you really don’t have to do that. What if you pull a muscle or something?”

I snicker, “Don’t worry about me. I don’t want her to wake up. She looks too peaceful.” I lift Lottie with ease and her head falls limply against my chest. “And if I pull a muscle trying to lift someone as light as Lottie, there’s a problem. I lift upwards of two-hundred pounds, Tess. I can handle this.” Her eyes flicker to my arms and her mouth parts again in a way that drives me insane. Now that I know what it’s like to have her, I’m never going to stop wanting her.

After placing Lottie on her bed and tucking her in, I quietly close the door and head back downstairs. Tess is busy clearing the coffee table of our glasses and popcorn bowl. In the kitchen, she immediately starts to handwash the dishes. My insides turn to mush when she flips her hair behind her shoulder, exposing her bare skin. I’m so done for. A fucking bare shoulder is almost sending me over the edge.

She turns and addresses me, “Thanks for doing that for Lottie. I don’t think she’s had the opportunity to truly sit and have a proper movie marathon with anyone before. Tara doesn’t really invest too much time in whatever her daughter is into. And it’s not really common for a girl to be into Star Wars, at least as much as she is, but I also love how much she loves the music of it all.” She’s rambling and I’m pretty sure she has been washing the same glass for the past three minutes.

I take the sponge from her hands and finish washing the remaining dishes. She dries the last of the glasses and puts them away, tiptoeing to reach the cabinet in the process.

I say, “So, you’d choose the villain, huh?”

She looks over her shoulder and smirks. The fire is still present in her eyes from our little exchange earlier. “Are you seriously still on this? Villains are always more interesting. They have a way of surprising you.” Tess brushes past me, sending vibrations through my body when I catch her signature scent of pistachio and vanilla. In the living room, she folds up the blankets and drapes them over the back of the couch. This woman is everything I’ve ever wanted and I know she’s baiting me. Seeing how far she can take it before I give in and give her what she wants. I can be a villain for a night.

I go up behind her and bracket her body with my arms, clenching onto the back of the couch. I whisper, “I can surprise you.”

“Hmm, I don’t know. You definitely have more Luke Skywalker vibes. You’re a good guy, Oakley.”

I press my already throbbing dick against her tight, perfect ass and wrap my hand around her throat, making her gasp. “I thought you wanted me to be a good boy, but I can be bad for you, Tess. If that’s what you want.”

Her pulse is pounding against my hand. Her head falls back onto my chest and she presses her ass against me, wanting more. Her voice is raspy. “Yes.”

I tighten my fingers around her throat and she moans. I trace my other finger against her spine and take hold of her long hair. I tug gently and she molds her body against mine. Her ass feels so good against my dick. I kiss her along the side of her neck. Goosebumps appear beneath my lips. I smirk. “Yes, what?”

“Yes, that’s what I want.” Her voice is laden with lust and I can’t take it anymore. The need for her is taking over my body, infiltrating any sense of reason or gentlemanly instinct. I turn her around and crash my lips into hers. Her fingers tangle in my hair and her body is glued to mine. She breaks the kiss, and her words buzz against my ear: “Do you want to go upstairs?”

I pin her hips against the back of the couch and run my fingers along her sweatpants, feeling the lacy hem of her panties. “Not really,” I say in a low growl.

I drop down onto my knees, leaving a trail of kisses along her stomach. My hands rest on her hips as I take in every curvature of her body. I want to memorize every inch of her like it’s my roadmap to happiness, because Tess has opened the door to happiness I never thought I could access. I play with the top of her panties again, and her hips angle forward. I pull down her sweatpants and inhale sharply when I see the pink lacy material barely covering her pussy. “Did you wear these for me?”
