I looked into his eyes and slammed my lips into his. I had been holding out for months because I wanted us to build a relationship not based on sexual chemistry, and after this man bought me a home—two homes—a brand-new truck that wasn’t even released yet, and gave me my dream career, he deserved some pussy and much more.

I moved him to the couch and pushed him down on it while straddling his lap. Our kiss grew feverish as he pushed my dress over my hips and ripped my cheeky panties.

“Samir . . .” I breathed as he yanked the top of my dress down, exposing my swollen and tender breasts. He gently pulled my nipple into his mouth, and my head fell back.

“Mmm, damn. I missed these pretty motherfuckas.”

“They missed you too,” I whined while undoing his jeans, reaching inside and pulling out the very thing that got me in this position in the first place.

No time was wasted as I leveled over him and sank down onto him. I felt a burst of little tingles all over my body once we got reacquainted with one another.

The only thing that could be heard was the sound of our moans, Silk playing in the background, and the sound of the ocean behind us.

It didn't take long for me to reach my peak as I bounced on his lap like I was auditioning for a Luke video.

“I'm going to cum,” I moaned.

“Cum for me, baby. That’s it. Fuck, this pussy is fucking everything,” he said, helping me ride him until I released.

“Shiiit!” I screamed as I released, and his grunts became more intense until he held me in place, dropping his load inside of me. I held him around his neck as our foreheads connected.

“That was the best seven minutes of my life. Shit so good I’m about to go slap the fuck out of Raquel,” he said, stealing the line from Friday After Next.

I laughed as he swooped me up and carried me toward the bathroom while I laid my head on his shoulder with a satisfied smile on my face.

Sometime Later

After the trip to Bali, I jumped right into my leadership role at Frost Riverfront. I had creative control over any designs and gave the final approval. I was now six months and a day pregnant. Over the last few months, I’d been living a life I swear didn't belong to me. Samir had given me so much in such a short time that I couldn't tell where my old life ended and my new life began.

I was happier than I'd ever been in my life, and it was all thanks to a one-night stand that produced great sex and a beautiful baby that we opted out of knowing the sex.

If it was a boy, he’d be a junior. If it were a girl, we’d name her Ariel after the Disney princess.

It was safe to say I was finally living the life I'd always dreamed of.

There was only one problem.

The Sidoras.

My mother and father.

The parents who basically cut me off because I didn't follow their rules and stay at home. The very parents who took months to come visit me after I asked them to come after leaving Bali.

My heart felt like it would jump out of my chest when they finally arrived.

The room was currently filled with nothing but silence. The words we couldn't say were swarming around the room, waiting for us to use them.

My mother and father sat across from Samir and me quietly. Other than a dry greeting at the door, my parents hadn't said much in the five minutes since they had arrived. Although I was six months pregnant, I rarely looked like it, so it was easy to hide my pregnancy from them.

After dinner with the Frost family, I wanted to get telling my parents out of the way because I hated not being able to tell them about the good and bad things that concerned me.

So, two days after leaving Bali, and Samir’s excitement, made this feel . . . normal. The smile on his face, the stars in his eyes as he watched the monitor every time we went to the doctor, let me know that I was having a baby that he was going to spoil to damn death.

When we walked out of the doctor's office that week, Samir suggested I get my parents here ASAP.

It took them three months to get here.

My father’s doing, of course.
