But that meant I had to make him choose me.

Admittedly, my dating experience was close to zero. I had vague memories from my teenhood where I had pursued crushes, including passing notes, promposals, and the like, but I didn’t think that was going to work in this very adult relationship. Thankfully, he was as sexual as I was and had responded well to my well-lit dick pic, but that was only the first step.

I had him by the dick, but I needed to snag him by the heart, too.

I needed to woo him, and that was going to be difficult for me.

How did romantic relationships start outside of physical ones?

The only person I knew who had successfully fostered one in my friend group was a Dom, and oddly enough, he was in a relationship with another Dom. I tried to see if this partner was actually just a Switch masquerading as a Dom, but no matter how much I inquired or tested, it seemed that he was, in fact, just a Dom.

If they could make it work, surely I could, too.

So, after my sweet Corin confirmed he wanted to meet with me this weekend, I set out to get some dating tips from my dear friend Everett.

That evening, after a flood of texts from my end, begging him to meet me. Everett finally agreed to meet me at a restaurant by the hotel I was staying in for the short term. The short walk was nice, with the crisp winter air calling me back to that burning night of passion I had after I carted Corin off to the same hotel I was living in.

I laughed as my cock twitched to life in my pants.

I casually patted the beast down, then stepped into the restaurant, where I caught sight of Everett, sunken in his seat, idly reading the menu.

As I approached, I whistled, unwinding the scarf around my neck before plopping into the seat across from him.

“Eve. My friend. How are you?”

He rolled his eyes, plopping the menu down in front of him so he could glare at me.

“Don’t call me ‘Eve,’ man.”

I feigned pouting, plucking up my own menu to hide my smirk behind it.

“But Everett is just so harsh. Aren’t we close? Can’t we have nicknames?”

He scoffed, his foot clanging against the legs of the table, threatening to reach across and kick me if he so decided.

“Watch it, or I’m leaving.”

Satisfied with my pestering, I acquiesced, scanning through the menu as I moved on:

“Can you spot me today?”

“Oh, your Dom daddy not paying you anymore?”

I chuckled, recalling my former Dom’s furious face.

“That is very much over.”

“Why? What did you do?”

I set the menu down.

“Why would it be my fault?”

Everett frowned, his left brow lifting in a look that clearly asked if I was being serious. This was why we were friends. He was so easy to read, and, in turn, so much fun to tease.

I couldn’t help but wonder if this was what his Dom partner liked about him, too.

With a sigh, I came clean.
