But there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. Not if I wanted to live with myself afterwards.
“WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!” Lucia screamed at me.
“She’s a woman.”
“And?!”
“I don’t kill women.”
Lucia stared at me like I was insane. “She tried to kill your wife! She’s responsible for what happened to Alessandra!”
“I don’t kill women,” I repeated.
Lucia just looked at me… then nodded sympathetically.
“Okay. I get it.” She turned to one of the Widow’s foot soldiers and took the pistol out of his hand. “Luckily, I don’t have that problem.”
Before I could react, she turned back to Lucrezia –
And fired directly into her head.
BLAM!
Lucrezia’s head snapped back –
Blood sprayed the altar behind her –
And she collapsed on the stone floor, dead.
I watched in shock as Lucia slowly advanced –
And emptied the entire magazine into Lucrezia’s corpse.
BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM!
Lucia fired the final shots when she was directly over the body.
Despite the deafening echoes of the gunfire, I heard the metallic click! when she ran out of bullets.
Lucia calmly held out the smoking gun, which her foot soldier quickly retrieved.
Then she looked right at me.
“Now let’s go kill the rest of them,” she said, and walked past me down the aisle.

Third Floor of the Mansion
The gunfire was thinning out. What had once been a non-stop battle was now just an occasional gunshot behind closed doors.
I raced into the main hallway and immediately saw the statue of the woman with the water pitcher. Next to it was a doorway, just like Marcello had said.
The door was slightly ajar.
I ran down the hallway, looking for Dario. I found him in a room with Adriano, standing over two dead Camorra.
