"Damn, that was amazing," I tell him, taking off the condom and throwing it into the trash. I lay back down, grabbing his blanket and pulling it over our bodies as I settle in.

"Hell yeah, it was."

We sit in silence for a few minutes; the only sound is our breathing filling the room. Damn, I'm so glad I brought this up. I've been craving to feel his body for weeks, and now that I have, I already know I want more. Fuck, if I have my way, I'll try to get my hands on him every second that I can.

Turning onto my side, I tuck a lock of teal hair behind his ear. "I can't wait to do this again."

"Me too." He takes a deep breath, then says, "But, uh, do you think you can sleep in your own bed? This is pretty small."

My stomach drops, but I understand. We're just hooking up; it's only casual, and sleeping in one another's bed is not casual at all. "Yeah, yeah, of course." I get up from the mattress, making my way over to my own bed. As soon as I'm under the covers, my eyes start to drift closed. Coming back to back is tiring as hell, but I whisper, "Goodnight," before I'm out for the night.

"Night, Beck."

TALON

I'm wiping down another table when thoughts of last night flash into my mind. Beck fucking me from behind, his hand splayed out on my stomach as he fucks me roughly. Or when I couldn't help but look into his eyes as he was thrusting into me. The way he can make my body feel things is out of this world. Which is the problem. If I don't watch myself, I might get addicted to him, and I can't have that. I wasn't lying when I told him my bed is too small for both of us to sleep in there, but having him sleep in his own bed will help put some separation between us. Because if I'm being honest, there's no way I'm not going to have sex with him. He's hot as hell and, fuck me, he fucks me so damn good. But he's not looking for a relationship, and I don't want one either, so keeping boundaries is the only way to make sure no one gets hurt.

The door to the restaurant swings open, the bell on top ringing loudly throughout the space. Hannah walks in, gliding over to one of the booths against the window. "When's your break?" She asks as I walk over to her, handing her a menu.

"In about twenty minutes. Wanna wait for me?"

"Duh," she smiles, twirling her hair around her finger. "That's why I'm here." Twenty minutes later, I'm sitting across from Hannah, with a plate full of pancakes and bacon, and me with a cup of coffee. "So, how have you been?" She asks, taking a piece of bacon and chewing on it.

"Good. Why, what have you heard?"

"I haven't heard anything," she laughs, rolling her eyes. "I wanted to check in and see how your little sock thing is going. And wondering if he's been in your bed."

"Oh my god," I squeal, glancing around the restaurant to make sure no one is listening to our conversation. "Could you be any louder?"

"I mean, I could, but I don't think you want everyone here to know about what you like to do in the bedroom. But tell me, how is it going with the sock? Is it working?"

I sigh, rubbing my forehead. "A little too well, if I'm being honest."

"Do tell."

"Beck thinks I'm some master hook-up artist or something. I did it at first because I didn't want him to think our night meant more to me than it did to him. But then I kinda liked the quiet of the room, so I might have put the sock on more than I should have."

Hannah snickers, cutting me off, "Oh my god, no you didn't."

"I did," I groan, throwing my head back against the booth. "Anyway, he hung out after studying, and since he assumes I hook up all the time, he proposed that we hook up since we both know we're attracted to one another."

"Please tell me you said no."

"That would have been the smart thing to do, but I never said I was smart."

Hannah's jaw drops, her mouth making an 'O' shape. "Damn, but you're not really the hookup type."

"I know, but I don't know, Hannah. I'm so damn attracted to him and the things he can do to my body."

"Damn," she puts her fork onto her plate, leaning back. "I don't want to be the one to say this has a bad idea written all over it, but damn, Tal, are you sure you know what you're doing?"

"No," I laugh, shaking my head. "I don't know what I'm doing at all. But I also know that I don't want to stop. For once in my life, I want to be the person who has a hookup buddy. I just need to make sure I won't catch feelings."

"Hmm, and how will you do that?"
