“I understand, Daddy, and I just want to get it over with. Please.”

“Okay, little one.” She heard him sigh and she could tell this wasn’t easy for him, despite them both knowing it was for the best. “I’m going to use my hand first, just like last time, to warm up your bottom and get the blood flowing.”

“Mmmhhhmmm.” There wasn’t much to say so she just mumbled into Bert’s back.

Daddy’s hand seemed to fall with less force than before, his touch lighter and more understanding, or maybe she was just getting used to it. She leaned into the familiar sting, letting it wash over her body and calling on the conversation they’d just had to keep her calm. Ace loved her. He saw this going somewhere. He wanted a future with her. With her!

These were the thoughts running through her mind as his hand smacked against her bottom again and again, warming it up. She could feel it heating, the skin growing warm under his touch. She knew it had to be pink all over by now, which meant he would stop soon, and the spanking would start for real.

Just as soon as she’d thought it, as if he could read her mind, he picked up the belt and she turned her head to see him double it over in his hand.

“A belt spanking is not fun, babygirl,” he said in warning. “But it’s also not something Daddy will use often. Daddy’s belt will always be saved for big offenses like lying to Daddy or not telling Daddy important things he needs to know to keep you happy, healthy and safe. That’s why we have that rule. Not following it is lying by omission.”

She gulped hard, and unbidden her encounter with Joey on her Friday route popped into her head. Did that count? She wasn’t sure and now did not seem like the time to ask. She knew Joey was not a real threat, at least she didn’t see him that way, but she also was pretty sure Daddy wouldn’t feel the same way, and she probably should tell him about that encounter. Just to be on the safe side because he loved her, and he’d want to know.

She’d resolved to tell him, and was debating the wisdom of doing it now, or waiting until later when the first lash of leather cracked against her skin, hitting both cheeks at once. She hadn’t been expecting it. The pain took her breath away and all coherent thoughts flew right out of her head.

“Ow! Ow! Ow! What the heck!” she yelled, jumping to her feet and reaching back to grab her ass with both hands. “No, no, no!”

“You weren’t paying attention,” Ace surmised. “You were lost in your own head and you were not expecting that.”

She turned to him, nodding woefully.

“That’s too bad. Get back into position, please, and brace yourself this time.”

She started to shake her head and he stopped her with a shake of his. “You keep saying you just want to get this over with, but in order to do that, you have to go through it. We talked it over and we both agreed this was for the best, for numerous various reasons. Those reasons still stand, even if it hurts more than you anticipated.”

Dammit. Why did he have to make so much sense?

Grudgingly, and with a kiss on her cheek from her Daddy, she lowered herself back into position and this time, she followed his advice and braced herself. She kept her thoughts focused on the why, and the after. After they would be solid, there would be forgiveness and understanding and someday the story of how she’d basically stalked him and lied about it would just be a silly memory. Maybe a story they’d tell their kids and grandkids.

Whoa. I’m getting ahead of myself.

It turned out that keeping her thoughts positive didn’t help the pain any. The belt whooshed through the air, and even with her mind on the good things, the reason, the after, and the forever, it still hurt like the dickens.

“Ow!” she cried, but this time she breathed through the pain and forced herself to stay in position. She wanted her Daddy to be proud of her.

When the belt struck again, she squeezed Bert tighter, and instead of crying out, she managed to only whimper.

Daddy picked up the pace, with the belt falling harder and faster until she barely had time to draw a breath. Her brain couldn’t process where one smack ended and the other began and, honestly, she didn’t know if it was better or worse that way.

The tears began to fall freely down her cheeks. She couldn’t help it; she couldn’t have stopped them if she tried, but the reality was, she didn’t want to. There was something amazingly cleansing about the whole morning, from the amazing conversation they’d had to the reckoning reminder she was receiving and the cathartic tears running down her cheeks. Even when the belt continued to land, she could visualize the stripes blooming down the length of her ass, across her sit spots and the tops of her thighs, even when her quiet tears turned to wracking sobs, she felt thankful and loved and whole.

Even as the pain broke her, and Daddy slowed down his pace, lecturing between strikes, gratefulness filled her.

“This is why we don’t lie to Daddy, little one. I want you to know that this is what will happen every time.” The belt cracked across the tender crease between her ass and thighs and her Daddy said, “Tell me that you understand.”

“Yes, Daddy! I understand!” she sobbed. “And I’ll never do it again! I’m sorry!” she cried. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

The belt lashed her skin after each cried sorry, and on the last one, she heard it fall to the floor. Daddy’s hands rubbed circles on her flaming hot bottom, and all across her lower back.

“Good girl, good girl, good girl,” he murmured.

He turned her over gently and held her in his arms, comforting her with soft kisses and sweet nothings. Eventually, the sorrowful cries turned to burning passion, and her lips sought his. When he kissed her, she clung to him like he was a lifeboat and she was drowning in the middle of the ocean. “Daddy, Daddy, Daddy,” she panted against his lips. “What about… what about… you know, the other thing?” She was desperate for his touch, his cock, the feeling of their two bodies becoming one, no matter which way it happened. Even as nervous as she was, he’d said it was going to happen and now her body craved it.

“The other thing?” Daddy pulled back enough to look her in the face with a crooked eyebrow and a knowing smirk. “The other thing… hmmm…” He chuckled.

“Don’t make fun of me!” She swatted his shoulder.
