But I can’t stay in his bed forever, so I climb out from under the silk sheets and wander into his closet. A row of dark suits greet me, as well as some immaculately pressed dress shirts. I fumble around his drawers for a bit before finding a white t-shirt, but then I put it back when I see the large fuzzy robe hanging on the back of the door. Perfect. It’s huge and almost goes down to my ankles, but it’s so comfy and warm too.

Then, I head to the kitchen. Sure enough, Paul’s standing at the stovetop with a spatula in hand. He’s rakishly handsome, his bronzed chest bare with that black hair rumpled to perfection.

“Good morning, sunshine,” he says with the quirk of an eyebrow. “My robe looks good on you.”

I giggle a little.

“Even though it goes down to my ankles?”

“Especially because it goes down to your ankles,” he declares. Then, he leans forward for a peck, but instead, the kiss turns passionate. I’m mewling and breathless before he pulls away.

“Come on, you must be hungry,” he grins while pulling out a barstool at the counter before serving me a plate of pancakes and fresh fruit. “Do you want syrup?”

“This looks delicious, thank you, and yes please to syrup! You must have woken up early to get all this ready.”

Paul grins.

“Yeah, I hope I didn’t wake you. I was trying to be quiet since you looked so peaceful sleeping when I got out of bed this morning.”

I smile.

“I wasn’t disturbed at all, don’t worry. I slept like a baby all night,” I say while scooping a fluffy bite of pancake into my mouth. “Oh yum! This really hits the spot.”

“I’m glad I can satisfy you, Mademoiselle,” Paul says with an impish wink. I laugh at first, but then try to turn serious.

“Actually, I wanted to talk to you about that.”

A black brow quirks.

“Sure honey, I’m all ears.”

I take a deep breath.

“Well, I know we kind of got off to a weird start with the blind date and all.”

He grins while taking a seat on the barstool next to me.

“If anything, that was the best blind date I’ve ever been on. I was expecting the worst, to be honest.”

I nod quickly.

“Oh me too! But I wanted to say that I was being honest with you when I revealed that I work for City Girls. But last night wasn’t a City Girls date, which means you shouldn’t treat me like a woman of the night.”

He looks at me sideways, the corner of his lips quirking up in a smile.

“Yes, but I believe in the power of professionals, honey. You delivered like no woman ever has.”

My cheeks go red as I remember some of the wanton things I did in bed last night, including letting him pound me in any hole he wanted. But I have to keep my head on straight for this conversation.

“Yes, but what I mean is that you can’t act like that with me. Again, we were on a real date, and not a City Girls date. It was rude of you to ask me if I take it up the butt at the hotel. You don’t do that on real dates.”

Paul is still for a long moment, and I’m nervous that he isn’t going to react well to this. But I can’t let him get away with treating me like a second class citizen because it’s downright wrong. I’m more than a piece of ass that he paid for.

“You’re right,” he finally says. “I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me. I wasn’t thinking, and my judgment was impaired by the alcohol. Either way, that’s no excuse, and it was wrong to say those things.”

I simply nod, accepting his apology even if inside, I still feel shaky. This is uncharted territory for me after all. But Paul’s penitence at least seems sincere. Noticing my hesitation, he takes my hand and gently kisses it.

“I’m glad you chose to come back here with me, and I hope you keep making that choice. I won’t ever treat you like that again,” he promises. A small smile breaks across my face.

“Okay,” I say. “But if you do, you’re out of here. You won’t even have a chance to apologize next time.”

“Don’t worry, I won’t need it,” he says while shooting me a devilish look. “But you’ll need it after I get through with you in bed.”

“Paul!” I giggle, breaking into smiles. Then, I playfully shove him.

“I know,” he says in a penitent voice. “You’re being serious, and I am too. I like women to be submissive, but specifically submissive in bed. And as you saw last night, I can be a little aggressive. Did you like that?”

I suddenly feel a little shy as my cheeks turn pink. I nervously take a sip of coffee, hoping to buy time. But when I think about it, I have to acknowledge that I did like it. If I’m giving the handsome man another chance, then I should be open with him. I smile and nod my head.
