Annabel shakes her head too.

“I know. A lot of our neighbors are never home because they’re in St. Tropez or Gstaad. But still, I never would have guessed that your home base was right here,” she says with big eyes. “Who would have guessed?”

My brother and I can’t help but laugh at her wonder, but then we go serious again.

“Yeah, we’re glad your neighbors are gone a lot because we definitely don’t want them seeing your little displays, sweetheart. We don’t want anyone but us getting a glimpse of that goodness.”

Her cheeks go red.

“Of course not,” she breathes. “That was meant for your eyes only.”

I nod seriously.

“Ever since we moved our safehouse here, we’ve been looking for a sign,” I growl, recalling the agony of being without her. I squeeze her hand and gaze into her eyes. “We began to realize that you hadn’t called the cops because the news reports were still running that one bulletin. But we didn’t know how you’d feel about us just showing up in your room again. We couldn’t risk it, and we didn’t want to upset you either.”

“The only way we’d allow ourselves to come see you again is if you gave us that signal at your window,” explains Burke. “But damn girl, you took a long time!” he adds, laughing. It’s a low, rumbling, pleasant sound. I haven’t heard him laugh in years. Maybe even since we were kids. Grin? Sure. Be amused? Sure. But actually laugh? That’s rare for us. Has it been that long for me too? This precious little girl keeps adding more and more to our lives.

“I’m sorry,” she breathes, looking at us with tears in her eyes. “I never should have said no when you asked me to help you. I instantly regretted it. These last months have been agony for me too,” she whispers, looking up at us through her thick lashes, batting them and making me go hard in an instant. “If only I’d known you were this close.”

“It’s okay, baby girl, we’re together now,” I growl, pulling her toward me and burying my face in the back of her neck, breathing in her sweet scent. Burke is caressing her face and cupping her breast as he slides his hand around her waist and kisses her. Annabel moans at both of our touches, sliding one hand onto my hardening bulge and the other behind Burke’s neck.

“Mmm, we’ve waited so long to have you all to ourselves like this,” I breathe against her soft skin. Then, I open my mouth and gently bite her neck, making her moan again and tighten her hand around my now rock-hard cock. “Are we done talking? Because I’d love to start the real action.”

She giggles, squeezing gently at my hardness, and I let out a low, guttural growl. But then Annabel draws back.

“Oh wait,” she mewls. “That reminds me, I have something to tell you too.”

“It can wait,” murmurs Burke, moving his mouth down to her cleavage.

“No, it can’t,” she protests while sighing. We stop reluctantly, looking at our beautiful girl. Her eyes are shining and her skin is glowing as she looks between us, blushing.

“What is it?” I ask, urgently now, suddenly sensing this is important. Annabel takes both of our hands and pulls them toward her belly, before settling them gently on her poochy tummy. Then the coin drops, apparently for both me and Burke at the same time.

“You’re not,” I exclaim incredulously. She nods.

“Yes, I am,” she whispers, unable to hide her joy.

“How far along?” whispers Burke, his blue eyes shocked. He looks like he’s been hit by lightning, and I suppose that’s what I look like, too. Holy shit. We’re going to be dads.

“Maybe two months?” she answers. “And I don’t know whose baby it is,” she proceeds carefully. “You both came inside my pussy so many times, and you’re identical twins, so it’ll be impossible to find out.” Burke and I stare at each other; we don’t even need to discuss it. We’re elated to be fathers, and the long and the short of it is that our baby will have two daddies.

“It doesn’t matter,” I croak when I’m finally able to speak. “This is our child, and that’s all that matters.” She looks overjoyed to hear this.

“We’re your daddies,” agrees Burke. “We’ve been sharing you so far, and it’s been perfect. So why not share the baby?”

“So,” she whispers, looking at both of us as if she’s afraid to fully let the happiness in just yet. “So you’re happy we’re expecting?”

“Absolutely,” Burke growls with a grin.

“Completely,” I agree. And Annabel looks so relieved and happy that it makes my heart break. But suddenly, emotion erupts, and to my horror, I begin to cry. Real tears are streaming down my face, and to my surprise, my brother’s crying too.
