“Does he need a lullaby?” Emrys asked, entering the room. He hadn’t changed for the premiere yet and rolled up his sleeves as he approached Caitlyn from behind.

“Not a tone deaf one,” Caitlyn teased.

“I’m working on that. Musicals are popular these days. Who knows when the next one will start casting?”

“Well, don’t practice on us.” Caitlyn stroked Sam’s tummy and sang a few verses about a blackbird while Emrys watched them fondly.

“You’re a natural. Even have the right key.”

Caitlyn swatted his arm as they slipped out of the nursery. “And here I thought you were talking about my parenting skills.”

“A little of both.” Emrys kissed her cheek and reached around to squeeze her ass.

“You can wear whatever you like. I have to get ready, too.” Emrys took her hand and pulled her toward the bathroom. “Let’s take a shower.”

Caitlyn slipped out of his grasp, but then blew a kiss as she walked backwards to the bathroom. Emrys put his hands dramatically over his heart and then chased after her. They’d appear together as just who they were in real life—a couple utterly smitten with one another.
