She watched as he began to pull on the leather wrist strap. The muscles of his right arm grew corded and defined. “You’re going to break through.”
He didn’t say anything, but a moment later the leather separated from the chain. Still easing his hips up and down so that he worked her with a slow thrust, he turned his head to his left wrist. The next moment the second leather strap broke free.
“Marius, should I be afraid?”
He met her gaze as he slowly rose up and surrounded her with his arms. Though his legs were still tied down, he kissed her and embraced her, the feel of his thick muscles like heaven against her breasts. Marius, you feel wonderful.
When he drew back, she felt his entire right leg flex. She had to watch, as he pulled with strong, consistent effort—and as though the leather had been made of tissue, it simply came apart.

Chills went up and down Shayna’s spine. She’d already come, but she could feel Marius’s intentions. Her breathing grew labored and her nipples rose into stiff peaks.
He flexed his left leg and with a sudden guttural shout, he was free. At almost the same moment, he levitated then flipped her so that she landed on her back with a vampire buried inside her and moving in deep grinds of his hips into her sensitive well.
“Oh, God,” she shouted. “Marius!”
He began to move into her now with every ounce of his power, slowly building his speed and pushing her toward ecstasy again. She gripped his shoulders, savoring his size.
This was more than she could have imagined would happen.
“Look at me, Shayna.”
She met his gaze and the commanding intensity of his expression held her enthralled. She couldn’t look anywhere else but into his hazel, gold-flecked eyes. She panted in deep grabs of air. “I’m so close.”
“I can feel that you’re ready and I’m going to speed up again.”
A cry left her lips. She dug her fingernails into his shoulders, still panting. And as the orgasm began to release, she cried out over and over. The pleasure was like nothing she’d known, and still he held her gaze, thrusting into her.

Still connected to her, he stroked her cheek with his thumb and kissed her again.
“I can’t believe we just did this. I’m pretty much shocked by it all, and yet it felt so easy with you, so natural.”
Marius felt the same way, though he was having trouble aligning all that he felt. Mostly, he felt a tremendous gratitude for what Shayna had done, that she’d gotten him through the worst of his recovery process, that she’d fed him, and finally that she’d had sex with him. Even now, he could tell that she felt a whisper of concern that she’d broken out of her usual standards and slept with him. He owed her his life.
“I understand,” he said at last. “But just so you know, this isn’t something I would normally do, either.”
“Really?” She seemed so surprised.
