There’s a knock on the door just as I come apart, and Dexter quickly pulls out of me, slapping a palm over my face and forcing me into one of the stalls.

Someone enters the bathroom just as he closes the door, and my heart hammers in short, panicked beats as I hear the girl who just entered chatting to a friend without a care in the world.

I’m still fucking coming, and it doesn’t stop until moments later, when Dex peels his hand off my lips, giving me a smug look. He pulls up his pants, giving me a knowing look and waiting until the two girls leave before he opens the stall door.

“I’ll see you soon, toy,” he tells me. “I’m glad you’re so happy I’m back.”

I’m left scrambling to words as he leaves, with my pussy still dripping all over the tile floor.

I have an hour to kill before Kelley picks me up since Brazen has football practice. I’m fidgeting with the hem of my dress as I walk down the hallway from my last class, knowing I’m an easy target for the Firstborns for the next sixty minutes.

I can’t stop thinking about what happened in the bathroom. How carelessly Dexter used me, how pathetically I begged for him to give me more. I don’t know how to defend myself from his cruel actions, and the worst part is, a sick part of me wants him to do this to me.

Leaving the main school building, I quickly check to make sure the back lawn is empty before rushing across, heading for the football field behind the school. Maybe they’ll leave me alone if Brazen is nearby. Although thinking my half-brother will have my back for once is admittedly silly.

Before I can reach the football field, I slam into a body while staring over my shoulder to make sure I’m not being followed.

“Would you watch where you’re fucking going?” I bark at the person, turning around to face him.

“Maybe you should watch where you’re going, princess.” Easton picks up the pile of textbooks I just dropped on the ground, loading my arms up with them. “Let me guess. Trying to hide from Dexter?”

“I…” I shift my weight from one foot to the other, wondering whether I can trust him with the truth. “Yeah, actually. Know a good hiding place?”

“Come with me.” He motions for me to follow him, and I do. “Are you really that afraid of him?”

“Have you met Dexter?” I raise my brows at him, and he laughs out loud. “He’s pretty fucking scary. And he’s done nothing but tried to make my life a living hell so far.”

Apart from the hours he spent making me come.

“Not gonna argue with that,” Easton mutters, grabbing me by the wrist and sending shivers down my spine with his firm, solid touch. “Come on, we need to go this way.”

I follow him until we reach the football field. I can see the team gathering for practice on the lawn, and I hope to good Lai doesn’t notice us – he’s on the team, too, and I have a feeling he’d instantly warn Dexter about my whereabouts if he saw us.

Easton guides me beneath the bleachers. We hide out behind some shrubs, and while Easton keeps a lookout, I can’t help but laugh at the ridiculous situation.

“You’re afraid of them too,” I realize.

“Well, it’s four against one,” he makes a face. “I don’t know about you, but I don’t fucking like those odds.”

“Now it’s two,” I remind him. “Two of us, against four of them.”

“One of us is a girl,” he grins. “You’re not much help, I’m afraid.”

“Well, agree to disagree,” I mutte

r, getting on my knees beside him and peering through the grass at the exit leading from the school. “This is great. At least we’ll see them coming. Maybe they won’t chase us if we run.”

He laughs out loud while I regard him quietly.

“Hey, can I ask you a question?”

“Sure,” he shrugs, giving me an inquisitive look. “What is it?”

“What have they got on you?” I motion toward the school in the background. “The Firstborns. Why are they ganging up against you? The others still seemed to listen to you without Dexter around. Why take his word over yours?”
