“Oh,” Savannah says, that touch of sadness back in her eyes again. She glances up as if she can see her room from here. “Aren’t you going to walk me to my door?”

“I don’t think I should,” I say, quite seriously, though there is a smile playing on my lips. “I don’t think it would be a good idea.”

“Why not?” she pouts. “You said…”

“Oh, no, darling,” I say, cupping her face with one of my hands. “Please tell me that you don’t think a day wandering around a casino counts as making things special for you.”

“I’ve never done it before,” Savannah pouts. “That made it pretty special to me.”

“Yes, but I can do a whole lot better than that,” I say, shaking my head with a smile that creases my eyes. “Tomorrow. You’ll see.”

“Alright,” Savannah says, pouting at the floor now. “If you’re sure.”

“I am,” I tell her, lifting her chin delicately. “Believe me, it’s taking everything I have not to throw you over the reception desk right now, never mind taking you upstairs. But I made you a promise, and I’m going to keep it. Got that?”

“I got it,” Savannah says. She smiles at last, apparently unable to keep it down for long. “Alright, then. What time should I meet you?”

“I’ll be down here at nine,” I say, bending to kiss her goodbye. “Don’t be late.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it,” she says, with a gleam in her eyes – and I believe her.

Chapter Sixteen

Savannah

I can't help myself. When I get back to the hotel room, making sure the door is firmly locked behind me, all kinds of naughty thoughts instantly drench my mind.

I'm so horny for him, I can't believe it. No one has ever made me feel like Jonas does, and we're only just starting. His promise of what will happen tomorrow has me so hot under the collar I can barely breathe. I try to picture what it will be like, as I undress and get ready for bed. Will he undress me just like this? My hands linger slightly, hesitantly, touching my breasts and even between my legs. I'm dripping wet down there, even though I already reached full satisfaction earlier today.

I wonder how many times he could make me feel like that in one day. How many times that absolute ecstasy could wash over me.

I lay on top of the bed in my pajamas, biting my lip as I try to imagine what tomorrow might be like. I have no idea what he has in store in terms of making it special, but I know what the conclusion will be. It's driving me wild right now just thinking about it.

His hands on my body, undressing me, touching me everywhere. It makes me shudder just to think about it. If he hadn't made it absolutely clear that he wants to make tomorrow special, and if he hadn't promised that tomorrow absolutely would be the day, I would be running down the street after him to get him to come back with me. I want him so bad.

As for what it might feel like, it's true that I have no idea. I just don't have the experience for this kind of thing. But if it's anything like it felt in that VIP room in the casino, then I can't imagine anything but loving it.

The next morning, I find myself awake an hour before I meant to be, already showering and getting dressed. I can't wait. I even go down to the lobby half an hour early just because I feel like I'm caged in my room, and I need to be there as soon as he is.

When I look up and see that he's already sitting in the lobby, clearly waiting for me, it makes my heart squeeze almost painfully with happiness.

“Hey!” I say, bounding over to him. “You’re here.”

“And so are you,” he says, casting an appreciative eye over my body. I didn’t have so much left to choose from, but a pair of figure-hugging jeans and a loose shirt are the best I could do.

“I didn’t really pack for… well, dates,” I say, a little shyly.

“You packed just fine,” he says. “But we can fix that later if you like.”

“What do you mean?” I ask, trying to figure it out.

“You’ll see,” he says. He winks mysteriously and then offers me his arm, turning to lead me out of the hotel – or so I think.

But instead of going out of the entrance like normal, he leads me sideways – through the door that leads into the adjoining casino.

“More gambling today?” I ask, teasing.

“Sort of,” he says, flashing me a sideways look and a smile. “You’ll see.”

“Is that going to be your catchphrase today?”

“It is if you keep asking me what’s happening next.”

I laugh and roll my eyes, and follow him towards a series of rooms at the back of the casino – all of them guarded by a dealer standing by a velvet rope.
