Her very touch made my body feel ultrasensitive, and truth be told, I probably could have come from the feel of her tiny fingers sliding along my flesh.
Prima glanced up at me, her long lashes framing her gorgeous green eyes. My wife was the most beautiful female I’d ever seen.
“Thank you for having some control and knowing this isn’t the best time for… this.” Her cheeks turned the prettiest shade of pink as she blushed. “I don’t think I could have stopped it.”
I made a gruff sound, and my body shook from the power of those words.
“But… ” she whispered, and my entire body tensed as she started to drag a finger along the crescent shape of my pectoral muscle. She moved the digit down and circled my nipple, my flesh pebbling, because her touch held so much control over me. “Maybe we can continue this tonight?” She glanced up at me from under her lashes, this shy, uncertain expression on her face.
My sweet little wife was being bold right now, strong enough that she was seeking out her pleasure even though it was very clear asking made her unsure and hesitant.
As if I’d ever deny her a thing.
“Prima,” I grated out as my control started to slip again at the images running through my head of taking her to our furs. “I’m about to explode in my leathers just from hearing you say that.” A soft sound escaped her, and I kissed her again and again, my need rising up once more. “It would bring me nothing but pleasure to do as you ask, especially if that means having you in bed and devouring you until you come for me.”
She trembled for me and pressed her chest hard against my front, as if she needed that friction to ease her ache.
But I forced myself to take a step back so we were no longer touching. It was either that or I’d fuck her right here up against the stone wall. Instead I took her hand and led her to the garden doors, pushing them open. I wanted to see her reaction to the beauty of it. Although it would never top how beautiful she was.
Her eyes widened and her mouth parted as she took in the gardens. Seeing her happy brought me more pleasure than I’d ever thought myself capable of experiencing. Just knowing Prima was happy here, with me, made male pride fill me.
She’d never want for anything, not as long as I took air into my lungs.
“It’s wondrous,” she breathed and stepped farther outside.
I followed, letting the doors shut behind us. The gardens were enclosed, the structure more of a massive greenhouse. The humidity and heat were too stifling for me to be here for very long, but I did enjoy visiting after a long day and just taking in the color and beauty. It was a far cry from the ugliness and savagery of the world I was accustomed to.
This was one of the areas of the castle I made sure got extra attention, so much so that I had much of the greenery implanted from around the country, even brought in from other kingdoms.
And as I watched my Prima walk around and marvel at it all, as I saw her reach out and lightly touch the flowers, an almost secretive smile playing across her face, as she glanced over at me and graced me with her beauty, her smile widening in pleasure, I knew for the rest of my days I would make sure she always felt like she did in this moment.
It was as if now—finally now--I fully realized what my life’s purpose was.

I bristled at the thought of Prima being around any other males in general, but other rulers set me on edge and made me damn near ready to call off the entire thing and lock myself in the room with my little wife.
