“Hey auntie baby,” Kyla said, taking Harmony out of my hands.

We all walked in the den and sat down.

“Well hello to you too bitch,” Tamika said to Lani.

“Don’t play with her today Meek, because she got an attitude,” I said laughing. Hell, it was true. I know when I was pregnant I had my share of attitudes as well, so I know for a fact Ka’lani was in full bitch mode right then.

“Don’t nobody have an attitude Tisha, so shut up,” Lani said, getting mad.

I couldn’t do nothing but laugh at this stubborn bitch. Since it was four ladies in the room now, and my baby had went to sleep, we decided to put something else on the TV. I got up from off the floor with my baby sleeping, and took her upstairs to lay her down in the guestroom.

When I got back downstairs, the girls were watching Dreamgirls. That was my movie, so I went into the kitchen to make some popcorn. I sat down on the couch next to Lani, and her little spoiled self had the nerve to put her feet in my lap.

“No bitch, get your feet off of me, you had an attitude remember?” I told her.

“Tisha I was just playing, come on now,” she whined.

I let her keep them there, only because when I was pregnant she would let me put my feet in her lap.

“So Tisha, you really killed Marshae?” Tamika asked once a commercial came on.

“Yes, I killed that bitch and I’d do it again if I had too,” I said, meaning every word. That bitch was going to kill me if she had the chance, and I know she wouldn’t have regretted doing so, so hell no I didn’t regret what I did! Better her than me.

“That’s crazy though. Did you ask Otis how did he know where to find you?” Kyla asked.

“He said he just knew, like he had a feeling,” I told them, eating my popcorn.

We decided to drop the conversation for another day, mainly because I was getting aggravated and I didn’t want to talk about that shit anymore. We watched the rest of the movie and before I knew it, it was going on 3 p.m.

“Y’all don’t have to go into the salon today?” I asked Tamika and Kyla.

“My first appointment is at 4 today, so I’m ‘bout to head out now,” Tamika said.

“I went in early this morning, so I’m good for today,” Kyla said.

“Who was all there today?” Lani asked, sitting up on the couch.

“When I was there this morning, it was me, Peaches, Erica, and Tasia there,” Kyla said.

I stood up to go check on my baby, and when I went inside the room she was still sprawled out on the bed sleeping. I kissed her forehead and grabbed my phone from off of the bed to call Otis, because I was getting hungry now. I called him and he answered on the second ring.

“I’ll be there in ten minutes baby,” he said, not even giving me a chance to say hello.

“Okay baby,” I said, and then hung up the phone.

By the time I finished getting Harmony’s bag together and everything, Otis was downstairs waiting on me.

“Otis come get the baby, she’s sleeping,” I yelled from upstairs. I had her baby bag in my right hand, so I couldn’t hold her.

I watched as he jogged up the stairs and came to get the baby. He picked her up from the bed and carried her downstairs, and I was right on his tail. I went in the den and Ka’lani was sitting on the couch while Ty rubbed her feet. Tamika and Kyla had already left.

“Bye Y’all. Ka’lani, I’ll call you later,” I said, going over to give both of them a hug.

“Okay sis,” she said as she hugged me back.

“Tisha bring your ass on, it’s hot as fuck out here,” Otis yelled from outside.

I sucked my teeth and Lani laughed at his dumb ass. When I walked outside, Otis was sitting in the car with the passenger side door open, so I went and got in and closed the door behind me.
