I give a small wave. “Hi.” I can feel my face turning a deep shade of red as they all take their time to assess me.

Brock goes around the table and introduces me to them one by one, and I shake all of their hands, but I already know that I’ll never remember their names. There is a blonde guy who is covered in badass tatts, and a holy hot African American who may just be God himself.

“Hey there.” He smiles sexily, and I nearly swallow my tongue when I hear his American accent. Jesus, he could do some damage.

A European man, maybe Italian, smiles and picks up my hand, kissing the back of it smoothly. Brock slaps him over the back of the head and the boys all laugh. He continues to make his way around the table, introducing me to everyone until he gets to the last two. “And this is Jesten.”

Jesten is tall, has sandy hair and a full sleeve of tatts. He has the bluest eyes I have ever seen, as well as a warm smile.

“Hi, Tully.” He shakes my hand. “It’s great to finally meet you.”

“Hi.” I smile nervously. Oh, I like him.

Brock rubs his hand up my back, as if sensing I need reassurance.

“And this is Ben, my brother-in-law.”

Ben leans in and kisses my cheek. “Nice to meet you.” He smiles, and I can’t help but notice that he’s allowed to touch me when the other boys weren’t.

I swallow the lump in my throat. “Hi.” Ben is hot. Damn, they’re all hot.

Not just hot, but stupid hot.

The boys return to their conversations, leaving Brock to focus on me. “Do you want a drink, Pock?”

I nod. “Yes, please.” I widen my eyes at him. “Maybe a jug?”

He chuckles as he walks towards the bar. “The girls will be here soon.”

Don’t leave me. I take off after him. “Girls?” I frown.

He takes my hand in his. “The boys’ girls. They’ll get here after they finish work.”

“You do this often?” I frown.

“We come here one Friday night a month.”

“Oh, okay.” I nod and stand beside him at the bar like a little puppet.

“What do you want?”

“Erm.” I frown as I look at the drinks menu. I don’t want to drink cocktails, I’ll look like a princess. “Sauv blanc?”

“Okay.” Brock orders our drinks and I look back to his friends, noticing a girl is now standing with them. She’s young and pretty. She glances over and looks me up and down, quickly snapping her eyes away as if she’s agitated.

Hmm. Who’s that?

I run my hand up Brock’s back and whisper in his ear. “Who is the girl with the boys?”

Brock glances back over. “Oh, that’s Cindy.”

“Cindy?”

“My secretary.”

I frown. “She’s your secretary?”

“Yeah, why?”

I fake a smile. “Just wondering.” I glance back over to see that she is openly glaring at me now. She has honey-blonde hair and a killer body. She’s wearing a grey tight dress that leaves nothing to the imagination, and I’d say that she looks about twenty- one.

Hmm, okay. That’s interesting.

Brock gets our drinks and carefully passes me my glass of wine. “Come on, I’ll introduce you.”

Really. Do you have to? “Great.” I fake enthusiasm as he leads me over.

“Cindy.”

Her face lights up. “Hi, Brock.”

“This is Tully, my girlfriend.”

Her face falls as she glances between Brock and me.

“G-girlfriend?” she stammers.

Brock smiles and puts his arm around me, pulling me close. “That’s right.”

She can’t hide her horror, not that she’s even trying to. “Well, when did this happen?” she asks.

“A few months ago,” he replies casually.

Somehow, I don’t think Cindy is too happy with me dating her boss. “You never told me you have a girlfriend.”

He rolls his lips, and I can’t tell he’s annoyed at her tone. “Well, now you know.”

She glares at me, and Brock glares at her.

Jeez, awkward.

“I’m getting a drink,” she mutters before she disappears to the bar.

Brock’s hand drops to my behind, and I turn to him. “Really?”

He smirks, knowing exactly what I’m about to say.

“Your secretary has the hots for you?”

“Is it obvious?”

I widen my eyes. “Slightly.”

He runs his hand over my behind, bringing it up to rest on my hipbone. “She’s always been into me.”

I frown.

He bends and kisses me softly. “Jealous?”

“Pft,” I scoff. “No.” I sip my drink and my eyes roam over to Cindy at the bar. She is gorgeous… and young.

“Have you slept with her?” I ask.

“Fuck, no.” He winces.

I sip my drink, annoyed with myself for even asking.

“You have nothing to worry about there, Pocket.”

“I shouldn’t have anything to worry about anywhere, Brock.”

He chuckles. “That, too.”

I sip my drink slowly, but I really want to tip my head back and pour it down my throat.

Is he a player?

An attractive brunette walks up the stairs, and one of the boy’s wolf whistles. She giggles and comes over to kiss him, and then she begins talking to everyone else in the group.
