“Damn, woman,” he said. “You really know how to make a sound argument.”
She laughed. “Did you ever doubt I could?”
“Not for one second.”
”We’ll have to return to New York tomorrow, but until then, I’m going to enjoy every inch of you.” Andrei said. “Are you enjoying yourself so far?”
“Yes,” Victoria said. ”I think I needed this.”
“Good. I’m glad you’re into it.”
Her hand explored his chest as they settled into the soft bed. The sheets were really rumpled, but they didn’t care.
“Andrei, can I ask you something?”
“After what you just did, you can ask me anything you want.”
“Have you ever dated a fellow lawyer before?”
The question took him back some.
“No, this is my first time,” he said. “Does that bother you?”
“Not really,” she said. “I just…want to make sure this isn’t some weird kink for you or something. Having sex with the opposing counsel…”
He lifted her chin so she looked into his eyes. “I promise you the last thing I would ever see you is some weird kink, Victoria.”
She smiled back at him, so he kissed her. He could kiss her four hours and never get bored from it.
“What about you?” he asked. “Any guys who need to have their asses kicked? “
“No, you are my first. I tend to stay away from guys I might meet in a professional context.” she said. “Why would they need their asses kicked?”
“Any man who lets you go would need one,” he said.
“Maybe I’ll take you up on that offer sometime.” She dropped a kiss on his shoulder.
“I believe that this is the beginning of something special and real,” Andrei said. “I don’t want to ever let go of you.” He wrapped his arms around her and gave her a kiss.
“Then don’t,” Victoria said.
Andrei began to tickle her until Victoria begged for mercy. He pulled her into his arms and brought her to the bathroom. They took a hot shower together in the high-tech shower stall. The warm water was endless, and they quickly soaped each other down, touching each other in intimate spots and kissing endlessly while the water sprayed them both.

Victoria
Monday morning came, and Victoria finally felt strong enough to go back to work. The week passed by slowly since she still wasn’t able to go and present cases in the courtroom, but at least she was getting back into her old routine. That’s what she needed.
As she typed, her thoughts drifted back to Andrei. His hands on her, his scorching kisses on her body, his tongue in her mouth. There were so many memories that made her feel a little wet, and she couldn’t focus on any writing.
She set her writing work aside to focus on reading depositions for upcoming cases she’d be trying for the upcoming weeks.
