She turned as they stopped in their tracks, apparently astonished to see her there.

Gahariet recovered first, giving her a grin.

“Good morning, gorgeous. How are you feeling?”

“Better. Much better.” She looked at the attendant, who took his cue and left the room.

Gahariet came in to brush her cheek lightly with his hand. “No more nightmares?”

“None.” She smiled up at him. “Silly to be afraid of ghosts.”

“It’s okay,” Olivier said. “I have nightmares with the ghost of my mom sometimes.”

Gahariet backed up a step. “What?”

“Yup.”

“I’ve never heard about those.”

“I don’t share every single detail of my life with you, Gahariet.” Olivier reached for his plate and began to eat.

All of them dedicated themselves to eating. Phuong was done with her meal within 10 minutes. She watched as the dragons went back for second and third helpings. It seemed that dragons ate a lot.

They were tall humans, yeah, but dragons were big. Where did all that extra mass come from? She felt too shy to ask them about it.

She sat there, drinking her wine and feeling a little bit tipsy. She didn’t have much experience with alcohol. She had to admit that she liked drinking wine with breakfast. It made the day just a little bit brighter.

Gahariet got to his feet.

“Do you like jazz?”

“Yes, of course. Who doesn’t?”

Gahariet waved his hand. Soft jazz music filled the room.

“Would you dance with me, Princess?”

She put her hand in his, drawn to him just like a magnet. She looked up at his face. His hands rested together at the small of her back. Every bit of her curves was pressed against his hard body.

And then he began to move. Slowly and softly at first, but with perfect confidence, he pulled her into the steps of a dance that she didn’t know.

And then he was twirling her, and at the end of the spin, somehow she was in Olivier’s arms.

He gripped her by the waist and spun her in a quick circle above his head. It was exhilarating to be spun around like this.

Then he brought her to the ground, letting her feet touch the ground for a mere instant before he bent her body backwards and kissed her deeply.

His tongue was cold and firm, pushing inside of her. And then she felt like fire was being unleashed from him, like it was filling her whole body, like she was burning up in a red-hot blaze. She felt weak at the knees.

Her legs stopped supporting her then, but she was fine, because Olivier’s strong arms held her up.

Then she was suddenly vertical, her arms still wrapped around Olivier’s broad shoulders. She felt the warmth of Gahariet’s body pressing close to her, his erection now pressing against the lowest part of her back.

Olivier stopped kissing her.

“Come back!” she complained. “I wasn’t done.”

“Oh, baby, you’re far from done.” Olivier slid to his knees. He raised her skirt and touched his tongue to the soft skin at the very top of her inner thigh.
