“She shanked a guard in the face and then stabbed herself in the neck with the shank. But they were able to save her. She’s in a coma, Dante.” Kyle hated to reveal such horrible news to the young man.
Dante stood there looking down at the floor in deep thought when the court officer came over to escort him away. His face was saddened as the officer grabbed his arm gently to take him away.
“Are you gonna be all right, kid?” Kendall asked.
Dante lifted his head and looked back at the two brothers. “I’ll never tell,” he said, turning and walking away with the officers.
