More… belonging.

“Hmm. Good girl.”

That makes me suck harder.

It’s sick how much I love the havoc he wreaks in my body or that euphoric, pleased look in his eyes.

I love that look. I want to see it for the rest of my life.

Whoa.

That’s a scary thought.

I don’t want Aiden for the rest of my life.

Why the hell would I think that?

The sound of an engine cuts through the car park.

I let Aiden’s thumb pop free and scramble to my feet. I snatch my band from the floor and pull my hair in a ponytail while smoothing my clothes.

Aiden doesn’t seem the least bit fazed. He tucks himself in with ease and that’s it. In a second, he appears all too normal while my cheeks are on the verge of exploding.

I reach for a napkin in my jacket and wipe my mouth. The fact that I still taste him shoots tingles between my thighs.

I’m trying to school my expression when Aiden pushes into me.

His chest flattens mine as he smirks down on me. “Are you wet, sweetheart?”

I clamp my lips together.

“I can do interesting things with your clothes on.”

I should be mortified but the only question in my mind is: interesting things like what?

“There you are.”

Both our attention snap towards the very familiar, older voice.

Jonathan King.

He steps out of his Mercedes, wearing a three-piece dark brown suit and black leather shoes.

His jet black hair is slicked back and he appears completely relaxed.

I instinctively jerk away from Aiden. It feels wrong to be near him after I heard Jonathan’s conversation with Silver.

It feels like I’m not allowed near Aiden.

Jonathan’s face brings back that itch.

It’s like I’m still floating in the pool and having my lungs filled with water.

So much fucking water.

He approaches us and I have the urge to shrink behind Aiden. I don’t know why I’d think that Aiden is a better demon than his father.

They’re both demons, aren’t they?
